    i was offered this drug yesterday and i am just waiting for my dr to the okay from the
    insurance company and then i had to take a blood test and a nurse told me she just heard something on the news about this drug and if she is right she said it wasn’t good news please explain to me if you can what is going on with this drug if anything plus i also have
    mutiple sclorisis high blood pressure etc etc

    Have been told that from a urine NTX test it indicates I may be losing bone at an accelerated rate. Recommending zoledronic acid therapy.

    CREATINE, UR. RANDOM 21
    NTX (BCE) / CREAT, UR 65
    NTX = Cross linked N Telopeptide of type I collagen. A decrease of >30% from baseline is a typical response to anti resorptive therapy.

    I am a bit hesitant to do this treatment. How do you interpret the above test?

    I was tld the nurse was giving me Reclast, When I received my bill, it said Chemotherapy is there a difference. I thought Chemo was for Cancer and I do not have cancer.
