3 Happiness Secrets That Also Help Your Bones - Save Our Bones

1. Release Yourself from Unwanted Pressures

It’s easy to fall prey to all kinds of pressure. Social obligations with family and friends may at times seem overwhelming. You also have to deal with what’s expected from you, and sometimes you might feel you’re not up to par. Plus life is not always fair, so there are times when you could think you’re being treated unfairly or may not be appreciated. Both situations can cause different levels of anger and frustration, increasing your stress levels.

Happiness Solution

Make the conscious effort to remain above any judgmental attitudes, both when it applies to you and to others. Try to accept and love people for what they are and don’t force yourself to socialize with people you may not like. Be open and honest with everyone around you, and don’t point fingers at them.

Bone Health Solution

Don’t succumb to the pressure of fitting in with those who blindly believe in the mainstream osteoporosis protocols. Stand your ground, based on knowledge and truth in science, and don’t feel embarrassed because your views are different from what’s accepted by the establishment.

With the Osteoporosis Reversal Program by your side, you have enough information to explain, if at all necessary, why you don’t wish to be enslaved by the osteoporosis drugs that have side effects, sometimes life-changing. Gracefully listen to opinions, remaining calm and stress-free because you know that you’ve found the truth.

2. Learn to Let Go

Letting go of hard feelings that could end up ruining relationships is crucial to finding happiness in life. Of course, there has to be a balance between surrender or retreat and constructive arguments.

Happiness Solution

The key is to have caring and loving feelings so as to engage in constructive rather than destructive arguments. It’s OK if the other person doesn’t agree with you, so long as you present your point of view with compelling clarity and composure. Also, try to never play the “victim”, since that involves negative thinking and a defeated attitude. Try to stay positive and self-reliant, all the while you show care and compassion for others.

Bone Health Solution

Don’t be afraid to let go of the establishment’s views that make you feel as though you must follow an osteoporosis drug protocol. Be open to new ideas and search for knowledge, so you can make an educated decision about the way you wish to improve your bone health.

Expand your understanding of the forces that have shaped the current medical system and realize that natural medicine has been around for much longer than the current allopathic system. Synthetic drugs are recent and still in the “testing” stage, with a poor safety track record.

Also, remember that osteoporosis is not a disease, so you should never get in the mind set of being a victim. With the Osteoporosis Reversal Program you don’t have to be a guinea pig, and you’ll never have to worry about terrible side effects.

3. Break the Monotony

It’s easy to get accustomed to your daily routine which can become entrenched in your life. Staying aware of the choices you make every day is a great way to prevent you from falling into a rut.

Happiness Solution

Every once in a while, take a step back and analyze your habits. Could you improve on them? If something is not the way you’d like, could it be that you might not be paying enough attention at your likes and dislikes, your strengths and your weaknesses? And don’t think that you must change everything all at once. Take small steps that can be realistically applied to your life, and keep building on them.

Bone Health Solution

You might think that you have few options to improve your bone health, especially when it comes to exercising. But that’s not so. There are simple ways to make exercising fun and to finally get out of your walking/weight-lifting rut… and avoid driving to and from the gym. Or worse, you might not be exercising for your bones because you think it's too time consuming or simply put… boring.

That is why, after working with personal trainers and physical therapists, I developed the Densercise eBook System. Densercise is the first and ONLY exercise system specifically created to help you increase bone density and dramatically improve skeletal strength to prevent fractures.

It gives you a varied and detailed four week exercise schedule complete with step by step illustrations.

And the best part is, you only have to Densercise for 15 minutes.. only three days a week to get amazing results.

Each day, you'll complete three unique, simple and fun moves targeting different muscles and bones, so you’ll never get bored of exercising for your bones and get maximum results.

Densercise is broken up into sections for each day and week there’s no guesswork and plenty of variety… no two days are the same.

You’ll benefit from a full range of weight bearing, resistance, and flexibility exercises.

Also included with your system are videos wherein I demonstrate each move, making even easier to follow and to get started.

  3. Patricia

I am 57 years old and have been taking Actonel for approximately 8 years. My doctor told me the reason why I probably developed osteoporosis is because of Synthroid I have been taking for the past 30 years for an under active thyroid. The Synthroid has a tendency to weaken the bones. Why wasn’t I told this 30 years when I could have done something to counteract this. If this is actually case, would I still be a good candidate to follow the Save our Bones Program?

I love how the members are giving advice to each other instead of Vivian, she’s the expert. She doesn’t comment to often or answer many Questions. She never responded to my questions re osteoporosis. Her theorys makes sense. Was on fosomax for 10 yrs, now quit for 3 yrs, but bone density’s values have been getting worse, should I worry, I fall easily as I have no left pelvis due to sarcoma 12 yrs ago. Lost a lot of confidence re getting around in case I fall knowing my bone density levels are poor.

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

Barbara, you asked if you should worry – the answer is no! 🙂 I never advocate worrying, especially in response to bone density scans! Worrying isn’t good for your health or your bones. 🙂
You said you were on Fosamax for 10 years and have been off of them for 3 – the half-life of bisphosphonates is approximately 10 years, meaning that it takes 10 years for the body to get rid of half of the drug that attached itself to bone. As you know, these drugs stop normal bone metabolism, namely bone remodeling, but as it gets released and less is attached to bone, normal bone remodeling resumes at one point. The question is, WHEN will this happen for you? As with everything else in the human body, this varies with each individual. According to a Harvard Medical School study (also mentioned in the book), pre-drug bone metabolism is restored to “normal” levels in an average of five (5) years.

Until normal bone remodeling resumes, the drug gets released into the blood stream and alters how bones rebuild themselves.

I encourage you to be patient, follow your own bone health “philosophy,” don’t let brainwashed doctors interfere with your own decisions!

Believe in your bones and believe in yourself! 🙂

  5. Patty Hawkins

I have been taking didronel/etidronate since 1988 for my osteoporis which I have had since childhood due to improper nutrion. I am 60 now and the drug was given to me by Chinese doctor in Canada. I had a bone density before taking it and one after taking. The tablets I take 2 at bedtime for 14 days every 3 months as the bones physiologically change every 3 months. It was designed for post menopause and the bone density showed a 50 percent increase in density of bones. Dr said keep taking after menopause but would probably not continue thickening bones at that time but would prevent greater loss of bones. The only side effects are possible nausea and diarrhea. I get only increased solid bms with this one. Question to you Viv is does this medication have the ingredient from pesticides as well as other meds? Also viv the jump rope exercises that you were or are promotingfor bone health is very bad for osteoporosis. We should avoid things that cause impact on spine and vertebrae. Comment requested from you and other readers please.

“Don’t think that you much change everything all at once.” I’ll remember
your sentence in my mind.Thank you very much. Recently my high blood presure is not steady, sometimes I have leg cramp, I hardly get up from
my bed and feel dizzy, the drug is terrible side effect, it make me die
slowly. tomorrow, I’ll see the doctor to get the blood test recult.
Thank you for your hard work.

  8. Dorothy Robinson

I am 83 years old and I have a problem with my knees. They hurt when I walk (no problem when I am not walking). I have been active most of my life. Is there anything can be done to improve this problem. I have your Save Our Bones book. Thank you for all of the long hours you put into research. God bless you.

    • Dee

Hi Dorothy, I had the same problem as you as I have arthritis in both knees. I was thinking of a knee replacement but did not think I was Quite bad enough.A Physical Therapist encouraged me to try the stationary bike. I started out at 5 minutes and worked up to 20 or 30 minutes a day. I miss once in a while. I took about 6 months but have no pain. The theory is that the movement on the bike smooths away rough cartilage and polishs the bone. Dee

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

Thanks for your kind words, Dorothy!

  9. Rebecca Hoffman

I have just send for the information and I am so excited! I can’t wait to get started. I missed out on the meal cards and I am hoping that they will be offered again. Does anybody out there have any they aren’t using? Or could you make me some copies? I also want to add that I began taking probiotics for my gastro problems and have noticed a dramatic drop in my inflammation in my joints. I know many of you out there have aches and pains because lots of people looking into this program are older and have arthritis like me. Just thought I would share that. I was astonished at this positive side effect. I look forward to other good changes with this program.

  10. joy wagner

I appreciate you newsletters and have read your book. Would you revisit the calcium needs of those with bone density loss. I’d like to share this info again with those who follow the fitms neurobalance center. This with MS and other disabilities have additional risk factors for bone loss and breaks because they are high risk for falling, are treated with high dose steroids and are often unable to walk, run, jump. there is so much conflicting information out there about calcium supplements. Would love an update!!
    thanks,joy

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

Thanks Joy,as an MS sufferer,I would like some help in this. june

  11. Robert Mohon

Still don’t know how to get calcium in my bones and keep it out of my bloodstream. Howzat work?

  12. Dee

Please, please release Densersize in book or DVD form. It will reach so many more ladies!!!

  13. Elizabeth Henson

Thank you so much for this article. I have encountered this problem with friends and family. A raising of the eyebrows when I speak of what I have learned from your program. I have reached the point where I refrain from speaking about it to much. I know I am on the right track, but am sorry they are not. Thanks again, Elizabeth

  14. Robin Gray

Just want to make sure everyone knows how great this program is. I was diagnosed with osteopenia two years ago. When my doctor started talking about drugs, I started doing research and found Vivian and her program. I have been a faithful follower and just had a new bone density done…spine is normal and hips are low normal 🙂 My new doctor (I have moved) said everything is fine!!!
I was a believer and now even more so. Thanks for sharing your research with us, Vivian.
    Robin

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

Way to go, Robin! Thanks for sharing the great news with us 🙂

  15. Cheryl

These reminders for happiness came at the perfect time – when I needed them. Thanks!

  16. Debi

I would like to see the Densercise Exercise Program available on DVD. Will that happen anytime soon? Thanks.

  17. Karen Williams

Thanks Vivian, for changing my life. I had no idea that my diet was so acidic. In fact, I always considered myself a healthy eater until I read your book and joined up with your program. My doctor wanted to start me on “bone-building” drugs as a precaution because I have 2.2 Osteopenia. Fortunately, I don’t do drugs! So after much research I’m following your program.
Can you tell me what you think about microcrystalline hydroxyapatite used in calcium supplements? There seems to have been much activity over the years with the FDA’s standings.

    Thanks
    Karen

  18. Charlotte

How do we know th info in Save our Bones is true or if the osteoporosis drugs are true? Both companies are in it for the money–I’m confused about it all.

    • Ginger

If money is – for you, a serious criteria…Consider the level of profits of one compared to the other…For me the clear choice is the less costly…it is priceless!

    • Susan

Because we know the SOB program comes without dangerous side effects where healthy food is your medicine. And yeah, she deserves to get some remuneration for all her hard work and research towards this issue. This is her work. We all have to make a living, but you can bet the drug companies don’t give a flip about you. They just want to sell the drugs, forget about the side effects that could potentially kill you or make you wish you were dead. You be the judge. Read the labels

      • Elizabeth Henson

I agree with you 100%. I would follow Vivian’s plan even if I did not have osteoporosis. It makes sense that all the foods people have eaten for centuries is better for us than any of the modern foods and medicines. Liz

  19. Ita

    Thank you ,Ita

  20. Carolyn

Thank you so much for all your emails. They have been greatly appreciated and I have used the knowledge you have given me to speak to my doctors with some confidence. I seem to know more than they do, at times! They agreed to let me stop the drugs and see how weight bearing exercise and diet adjusting would do. My next scan will not be until spring of next year. My husband is amazed at how strong I have become and I feel more energised.

I do not have time for Tweets nor Facebooks so I email you in the old fashioned way.

    Keep up your excellent work.

    All the best,

    Carolyn

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

You’re very welcome, Carolyn! And stay on track for your bones 🙂

  21. Marc

Vivian, you would make a great Buddhist teacher.

    • Vivian Goldschmidt, MA

Thanks, Marc! Here’s one more for you then:

      Health, contentment and trust
      Are your greatest possessions,
      And freedom your greatest joy.
