We Lost A Giant… - Save Our Bones

This time I write to you with a heavy heart…

Founding the Save Our Bones community has led me to cross paths with many remarkable people.

Let me tell you about a special person whom I’ll never forget. It all began two years ago, when Robina, a member of the Save Our Bones community contacted me. We began corresponding by email and a couple of months later, we met for the first time during one of my travels to Canada.

Thus began a marvelous friendship with Robina and her husband, the world-renowned Dr. Robert Bruce Salter.

I got to know Dr. Salter, both as a friend and as the Orthopedic Surgeon, professor, author, and scientist he was.

Although he held many prestigious honors such as being named one of the 10 most outstanding scientists of the past 80 years, and being inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame, he remained a genuine and humble man.

I consider myself privileged for having had the opportunity to be a part of Dr. Salter's circle of friends. I have many fond memories of our conversations where he shared his knowledge with me and expressed his views with deep enthusiasm. He told me once, that I, like him, did not accept the conventional “wisdom” and for that reason and against all odds, discovered a method that works.

You see, Dr. Salter searched – and discovered – new horizons in orthopedics that improved the lives of thousands of people around the world. He revolutionized orthopedic surgery and his medical textbooks are used around the world and have been translated into six languages.

So it was with great sadness that I learned of his passing on May 10th.

Please click here to read about Dr. Salter's amazing life and his unequaled achievements.

His legacy is much more than new and improved joint healing methods and unique surgical techniques – Dr. Salter embodies the true essence of a brilliant mind that never settled for mainstream answers.

Dr. Salter will continue to be an inspiration to me and to thousands of others who insist on finding the untold truth about health and disease. I am truly honored by his endorsement of the Osteoporosis Reversal Program and will cherish the time we spent together forever.

My deepest condolences to Dr. Salter's wife, Robina, a dear friend of mine and faithful companion of Dr. Salter till his last breath. May he rest in peace and may all his family be blessed.

I am getting a lot better these days . I was to see my family doctor on May 26th 2010 and the report she gave me was that my bone density has increase to 4.8 percent , And also asked me what I was doing to turn this problem around .So I told her , shr than asked me that the next time I come in to see her to bring in all the natural supplments that I am taking. So this was a great break though for me

Thanks for all the advise that I have received from the book that I have order from you

I know what the loss of love for someone that you respect dies.
I know how hard the toll this takes.
I know that time… heals the intensive quite pain,
yet the chain to the missing link are never ever quite replaced.
Healing comes when one gets to the place when they realize to say…Damn, I’m glad that I got to care and know that person for they were in my life to impact upon who I was.
Take Care Miss Vivian, heal and eat really good now for your bones and better spirit. Kim Mack

    Vivian :
I am also sad to lose your good friend. He must love helping people get well through natural and non-traditional medical treatment.
I think that the good memories you and him, together with his wife, shared together will

will never leave us until we see them again in
our eternal destiny. Someone said there is no

It is clear that your good friend and colleague recognised in you the wonderful person you are and the courage of the mission you undertook in the work that you are doing.Of course it is sad to loose a friend even if their worries, whatever they were, are now over and if we believe in God then they are gone to a better place. May your many happy memories sustain you and Robina his wife and help you through these difficult days, weeks and months when it will not be easy.
      God rest his soul.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Salter.

I was pleased to receive by program information. Are there any meal plans available to help me get started with the 80/20 acid/alkaline balance. This is such a huge change from what I have been doing. Also, I have had skin cancer and need sun block everyday. What can I use? Has anyone distilled their own water at home to remove the flouride and does it work? Also do regular bottle waters from the store have flouride. As a new member to the program, I have lots of questions.

    Thanks for any help.

    • Sandra Bowman

We found a solution to the water problem and bisphenol A. We got a hot/cold cooler from Home Depot. Then we got a glass topper from a beverage distributor. The fit is perfect. Works great! The water is filtered through Aqua-Sana and then into the jug and put on top of the unit.

Thankyou so much for your email today telling us about the sad passing of Dr. Salter. He was certainly a wonderful man and was certainly also well known here in Australia.
