That’s so true! At 78, I still hear my late dear Mum, who passed way at 99, saying to her friends “Put down that stick, stand up straight and walk smartly!” She just couldn’t be stopped from walking! I find the cure to any aches and pains, or low moods is to drop everything and take a fast walk…and if possible, add a spell of bending and stretching in the garden!

Hello Everyone!
I am in good health … I am of the 3rd age and I just wish to tell you that I have always enjoyed excellent health! No drugs…. no smoking….no alcohol…. always walked and walked…. breathing the purest air – such as going to the Laurentian mountains during the best months of the year! My parents were Italian and so both my parents cultivated a vegetable garden…. my mom was an excellent cook…. thus , we , the family were well- nourished
with fresh vegetables and legumes- some poultry and seldom red meat!
Yes in deed! I deplore what Big Pharma has been doing to the world!
If one person will adhere to the above …. then, I will feel that I have somewhat contributed to humanity! Thank you all for reading my letter.

I love that, as I started reading down the list I kind of realised the ‘drug’ was exercise! I would add one more to the list though, that being no side effects!
