A perfect example is Dr. Robert Salter, whom I had the honor of meeting a few years ago. A world renowned Orthopedic Surgeon, professor, and author (his textbook on Orthopedics is currently used in thousands of universities world-wide), Dr. Salter was never afraid to break away from the pack.
No wonder he was named one of the 10 most outstanding scientists of the past 80 years! Unfortunately, he passed away almost exactly four years ago, but his legacy lives on.

After I read your story of bad effects from taking FORSOMAX, I stopped taking it mainly due to my jaws got dislodged and I had mouth sores where I was not able to eat—had to eat porridge until my mouth healed. I also follow Natalie Cordova’s exercises every morning. Thanks to you for all these valued information that I have adopted. I still have sore neck and shoulders ache but they are improving.

Have read your write-ups with such interest. I was diagnosed as having osteoporosis about 8 years ago because I slipped and had broken my wrist. I read that the drug I have been taking once a week Alendronate is not good after 5 years. Could you please help me over this. Thank you so much. being diagnosed with having low bone density two months ago, I have made the decision not to take the drug prescribed to me
(Teva Alendronate) after learning of its side effects. I became very motivated to

I have a question about bone density : if bone density is only a very rough estimate of fracture risk, hence not a good indication of the quality of the bone, is it a better indicator of bone strength when bone density increases for the same person ?
Does an naturally increased bone density really a very good indicator of bone strength?

Good question, Lchene! The thing about bone density scans is this: a scan that shows increased density can mean your bones are stronger and more flexible, or it could simply mean they are harder and more brittle, such as occurs with osteoporosis drugs. If your DEXA score increases and you’ve been eating a pH-balanced diet and getting regular exercise, then it’s likely that the higher numbers are good indicators of better bone health. I hope that makes sense! 🙂

I have started following your plan after my diagnosis for osteoperosis, refusing advice from my doctor to start medication. he was not happy with my decission.

Congratulations, Vivian! I’m 83 years old and was taking Fosamax daily for ten years. Against doctors orders, I stopped taking Fosamax six years ago due to the acid reflux that it was causing.
