I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

job changing peoples lives. This information is so important for all of us.
I’ve read that Tualang honey is good for bones. Is this true?
I have read Vivian’s posts and appreciate her wisdom and desire to help
all of us with living a healthy life.

I know how important it is to hydrate, especially in the hot areas of the country. I have a well, which obviously means the water is at the whim of the ground and may have things I don’t want to be drinking. I could really use one of these distillers so my water can be clean. I hope you pick me to win as it would really be used. Thank you.
We would love to have a water distiller! It would help the health of my wife, myself, and the many people who come into our home for meditation and spiritual classes. The water where we live is filled with many minerals.
VivienI have been away and have not yet cuaght up with part 1 & 2.
Some months ago I purchased a Wellness water filter for my shower and my kitchen, can I combine the kitchen filter and a water distiller?
Your informations is so valuable.

I enjoy the valuable information you give us about our bones I look forward to this.
Hi Vivian, I just found your site. I have been drinking distilled water for over 30 years, most from a company that delivered in 5 gallon jugs. They sold out to another company and theirs tasted like ditch water sometimes and I could not drink it, so we went to buying in gallon jugs. Would love to win the distiller. I have read so much about distilled being bad for you but could never bring myself to drink the chlorine smelling tap water. Could never afford RO or even whole house air conditioning. We live in Florida, really hot. Would love to win the distiller.

Vivian,
Thank you so much for all your hard work and research. I know I certainly appreciate it.
Take care.

…because I need to stay strong so I can live a full healthy life….
I live in rural San Diego county where water is a precious commodity. I collect my dishwashing rinse water in a bucket in my sink and carry it outside to water plants.
Being an energy conscious consumer I am curious what is the power consumption of the distiller? Thank you for all the information you share for keeping strong bones and living a healthy lifestyle. Best Wishes!
Thank you for all the wonderful information. A countertop distiller will save me so much money in the long run. Even the water companies where you have water delivered, don’t always sell distilled water which I used to drink. It is time for me to get back to this kind of water. Thansk again!
Looking for that pure water! I imagine a rainbow forms above the jug…
Loved reading the Save Our Bones and the daily comments from Dr. Vivian. This has been very insightful and I’ve shared with a sister-in-law who absorbing all there is about this program as well.
I sent one and it said invalid e mail address so dont
know what to do!
I’m 65 and interested in maintaining good bone health and health in general. We filter chlorine and fluorine out of all the water used in the house, except for one toilet. This is not inexpensive. I would like to further filter our drinking and cooking water, and there are reasons I would like to distill water that is consumed. I don’t think water can be “too” pure, if we supplement the missing minerals (which are missing because of our public water supply).
Some of the best info on bone health available.
Thanks.
What a great way to help people get the best water since we can’t live with out it. Even more importantly, we can’t live without the Living Water which is Jesus Christ.
Getting rid of the fluoride and chlorine would be a definite plus and no more toxins what a gift.
love good water
I am so grateful for The Save Our Bones program, without this program I would be one of the 5 million people on the awful bisphosphonates drugs!!! Thank you Vivian
I love how positive and upbeat you are, Vivian. You bring such wonderful energy to your teachings and to your support for the rest of us. My life is about teaching others that “love changes things…even in the world of politics.” I have worked to bring love to the American political system in order to reverse the nuclear arms race. We ended nuclear testing! My husband and I now teach Mexican families, including those involved in politics, how to be in a place of peace and love in their lives.
great program
I enjoy reading your articles because they integrate traditional medicine with holistic medicine, take into account the environment we live in, place more responsibility on the individual and empower him/her with the ability to make informed choices. Thank you!
I love all the Save Our Bones information that you share with so many. I ordered your book and have, I think, really improved with my eating and exercises. I love water and drink many glasses daily. I am always searching for the best water, and like so many, get confused with the topic of water. I would love to own the water distiller. Thanks Vivian for all your information.
I think all of your information on our bones is absolutely priceless. Thank you so much.
I totally agree with drinking distilled water. I have switched over from well water as a result of your ‘water’ emails. I would love to have a counter top distiller. The shower filtration system sounds like a great idea too.
I started drinking distilled water about 8 months ago and can notice such a difference in my skin and general health. I really appreciate all the information that Vivian has given. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis years ago and unfortunately took fosamax for several years. There was no improvement whatsoever in my condition. It did not get worse, but the fosamax didn’t improve it either.
Vivian’s program is reversing that and my bone density is increasing. Amazing. Thanks for offering this opportunity to win a distilled water system. Wow–Jeannie Paul
Thanks for giving me the courage and knowledge to discontinue being treated with boniva.
I love to read all of the information on the save our bones newsletter.
I always refer to the Save our Bones website for reference
for bone health. You have helped so many people save their bones. Thank you so very much!
I recently moved to an area where the municipal water is fluoridated (after living in a community that did not fluoridate for a number of years). We buy distilled water for my hubby’s CPAP machine anyway (he has sleep apnea) and now I reuse those #2 plastic gallon jugs to get all my drinking and cooking water from a spring the locals tell me is great water. But I’m not sure I want to slog through the snow to access the spring when winter comes. Besides, I’m not sure if the water has been tested. I only know lots of local people use it. It would sure be a convenience to have our own countertop distiller instead.
This water distiller seems like the answer to many of my problems.
Dear Vivian, since I live in the netherlands,I do not think that I can participate in the sweepstake, but with this comment I just want to let you know that people all-over are appreciating what you are doing .
I think that clean water is one of the most important things we should have (worldwide). So maybe we have to let the governments know that they have to do something about it!
Keep up your good work! Lia de K.G.
I would love to improve my friends’ and family’s health with the information from you and the distiller!
I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis in my hip and Osteopenia in my spine at age 45. I was given a Rx for Fosamax, but wanted to read up on it first, as I do not like taking any medications and prefer an alternatives (supplements/diet). I found your site and it has changed my life. I never considered that my water may be an issue as well. I also use a Neti Pot every day in the shower, but now the saline packets warn against using tap water as well. I tried a jug of purified water, but the temperature is too cold. The shower filtration would be wonderful as well, so that I can have clean water at the temperature I need. Thank you Vivian
Juan
Thanks for all the good information you provide on this site!
The insight on inorganic minerals makes you think about the importance of getting your minerals from food sources too!
When I learned that I had osteoporosis my doctor advised me to take Reclast. That’s when I researched this medication and its serious side-effects. I discovered the Save Our Bones program. I ordered the book and have been following it faithfully. It has helped me to make informed decisions about osteoporosis and taught me to be an advocate for my own good health, rather than relying only on what my doctor advocates. Thank you for literally “saving my bones”!
Maryrose
This looks like a great way to have distilled water without having to drink the water from the super market in plastic jugs.
Thank you for all of your help with my osteoporosis problems. Your continuing support has fortified me in my determination to “stand up” to my Doctor when she insists that I take drugs, IV’s, etc. for my bones. I have celiac disease and I control my symptoms with strict adherence to the
gluten free diet. I buy water and never drink tap water. I would be so happy to have a distiller in my home.
Thanks again, Vivien for all of your help.
Sincerely, Lorraine Lunz
i am so glad you are keeping me informed about everything related to my bones and health in general. Thanks so much.
Hi, I love your program and have been following it now for some time. The exercises are a part of my daily routine. I have been canning the month of September for a friend who has cancer. I only do organic and I have been using the distilled water from the store. It has gotten expensive tho. However, I only want the best results in my canning. I put up tomato juice, salsa, and soups for her. It would be great to win a distiller to use in helping can food for my family and my friends. I would also like to know where we can order a distiller if I don’t win. It’s always good to know about a product that is tried and true. Many Thanks for all the good information. Best Regards, Cindy Hagan
Hi just want to thank you Vivian for giving us all this wonderful information and helping us to make decision for our bone health. I don’t feel scared or tossed around with all the stuff that is out there about bone health and the dangers etc if I do not take prescriptions for my osteoporis.
I feel that I know you personally now.
Thank you again !
Kindest regards,
Dorothy
Thank you for the valuable information you share. With severe osteoporosis it is very valuable to me. I had been using much of your Osteoporosis Reversal Program before receiving it. Took Fosamax for a very short time(5mos.) but could not tolerate it and was never convinced it was what I should be doing. Of course my Dr. was upset with me and did nothing but say if you get a fracture you will more than likely end up dying. I only go to his office to get my dexa scan. My research has given me more information and options than he ever did and his office is well known and received. I was respectful to him and only asked questions and wanted options not a new med that had all the same side effects as the first one and had no research data that offered positive results.
So, diet, beverages, right supplements, lots of water(boiled) are my meds. I am a senior with limited income so I must always do everything I can for myself. I appreciate receiving your research and updates, they are very helpful.
I do worry about osteoporosis. Being Asian, I have read about the higher incidences with Asian women and osteoporosis. I’m always looking for a way to fight the nature of my heritage.
I feel water from the faucet is much better for ones bones, plus I feel we should be eating egg shells which have 23% calcium for our bones. You can mash them and mix them in orange juice or in eggs instead of buyin calcium pills which cost money.
