I’m thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes’ starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I’ve explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn’t tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I’ve done the research, and it’s by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!

Here’s How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package’, which normally sells for $510.
- Runners-Up: Five lucky winners will receive the Waterwise BPA-Free Sports Bottle.
I really love being in control of my water with the Waterwise distiller, and I’m sure you will too!

Here’s What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package’

Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399

Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69

6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36

Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

I understand that drinking distilled water is good for one’s bones.
I, too, think distilled is the best way to purify water. I have heard of other methods (ie. Reverse osmosis) and believe distilling is the best. Please enter me in this sweepstakes, and I hope for the chance to win this package.

Hello Vivien,
With reference to the water product from water distillers, is not the taste rather flat and dead, does it not need benificial additives adding to it to give the taste buds a kick.
What is your experience.

A few days ago you reminded me of how much I have always wanted one. This one looks good, quite different to the ones I have been looking at on line. With the rubbish in our water, I must do something about getting one real soon. An obviously much needed item in my fight to keep alive. Thankyou.
Vivian, May God bless you richly in all your ways. Thanks for your very informative emails and valuable information. Our health has improved vastly.

You have inspired my life since the first time I had got hold of your website and have been following it eversince. The information you give is very usefull and knowledgeable. Please keep it up for the likes of us who would be lost without it.
Many thanks
I realize good drinking water is important, but there are many of us who live way below the poverty level, thus unable to afford this extra bonus for our health. I try the best I can to take care of my health. I get frustrated as I have a most sensitive digestive system which neither medical or alternative medicine cam figure out why. I have begun drinking more filtered water which at times helps. As for my bones, they are already bad but I refuse to take any meds for them, just exercise and try to eat with common sense. This came about when I asked my primary care doctor if my body was using the calcium supplements I have been taking since in my 40s. The urine tests proved my body wasn’t, so no more supplement for about a year now. Fact is we don’t know if the supplements or the food we eat is being used by our bodies, Gees, this aging process is a bummer. I’m 72 living with the results of being in four car accidents, trying to enjoy each day as it comes.
Thanks for listening.
It was very interesting reading all the info on water, I would love to own a distiller myself am still researching outlets for distillers., Not sure if the one you have can be purchased in Canada. I would love a comment on that issue if possible.
I live in an apartment which has a high smell of bleach in the water so I boil my water and use a brita filter for now.
Thanks Vivian for all your help and comments
Sylvia
I have been following your articals on Water Week and found them to be very interesting. Had a look round the internet with intent to buy one. I suffer with dry skin as well as the ostreaposis. Thanks so much for giving me the chance to win one. Best Regards Marlene. Sorry for the spelling mistakes.
Hi Vivian
Good news to hear about the water dispenser and to have the guidance as to what is the best way to go and I know that whatever you recommend is the number one choice and the direction I will follow .Water was the one thing I wasn’t clear about however you have now clarified this for me
So far I have given away all the Pharmacy drugs and I am now completely organic in the way I treat my spinal osteoporosis as noted in your book.
Thank you for your help
Thanks a lot for your information and advice. It is so helpful.
Hi Vivian, What is your thought on Kalgen water? A few readers have brought up this topic. Catherine
Hi Vivian,
I currently use Reverse Osmosis but have been reading your blog for a while now. You have the most up to date ‘water smart’ articles I’ve ever seen and I read a lot. Mostly about nutrition but all aspects of good health.
Make a believer out of me by letting me win the WaterWise system! I’ll make sure many other know too. And please continue to write these amazing articles.
no doubt that good clean water is necessary for healthy living.
A lovely water distiller would help to keep me on the right track. I am even using the idea of labeling my water glass for health and peace.
Bless you all,
Anne Farrell, Ireland
I would wove to be weally water wise!
I have always been a believer in distilled water. Before when i had extra income i use to buy it. Now that im broke i have to use tap water and it’s just not the same. Hope i win cause i sure could appreciate it.
I do not believe in distilled water before, not until I read Vivian’s articles about distilled water. This is because my understanding is that pure water lacks some mineral content having only 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen. From Vivian’s article I learned that even alkaline water when it enter the stomach becomes acidic with ph1.Inorganic minerals are not good to our health and organic minerals can be taken only from the foods and vegetables that we eat.Adding lemon juice to distilled water is more healthy to drink rather than other types of mineral water contained in plastic bottles.
Hi Vivian, Thanks for all your good work & for the save our bones program. So much good advice which makes common sense & not found in conventional advice sources. I also believe that good quality pure water is so important to our bodies. We are made up of around 70 – 80 % water anyway. It seems that the healthiest people in the world are found in valleys where there are pure natural sources of water which comes through rivers, underground streams & waterfalls. The combined effect of these actions oxygenate the water, add minerals & negatively charged its ions which make it very beneficial for our bodies. A far cry from the supposed standard meeting, heavily chlorinated water supplies of most cities. It is a great challange for us all to get a pure supply of water to replicate as much as possible what nature intended us to have.
Vivian,
Thanks for all the advice on helping us drink the purest bone friendly water.
Maurice
I would love to win the Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller. I am currently using Pureau Water which is purified water. My body will thank you for it – improving my bones, asthma, sinuses, GERD, fibromyalgia and osteo arthritis.
Thanks so much for doing such a wonderful job in assisting us with our health.
Kind Regards
April Nurse
Thanks so much Vivian for all the reports and info you send us. I just finished a cleanse with Yuri and he also says distilled water is best for you. I’m now “sold” on the idea that I need to change my drinking water to distilled, and I am glad you are going to give this distiller to someone. I really hope it’s me.
Once again, thanks for giving us all this information. You are a Godsend.
Thanks for all the valuable information. I’ve had Waterwise for several years. It is the best!!
Haved used Waterwise Distiller for years and I love it. Makes the best water on the planet. Use distill water for every thing. Thank you very much for a great product.
I’ve got just the right counter space for this unit. No food processor to compete with it.
Oh, for the taste of good, healthy water. I would love to be able to distill my own.
“I was chokin’ mad with thirst,
An’ the man that spied me first
Was our good old grinnin’, gruntin’ Gunga Din.
‘E lifted up my ‘ead,
An’ he plugged me where I bled,
An’ ‘e guv me ‘arf-a-pint o’ water-green:
It was crawlin’ and it stunk,
But of all the drinks I’ve drunk,
I’m gratefullest to one from Gunga Din.”
The above is from “Gunga Din (Deen)” by Rudyard Kipling.
The below is by Stanley Perret.
And I shall be more grateful than that soldier Brit,
if I win a Waterwise Pack from Vivian Goldschmidt.
