I have long used distilled water and love the clean fresh taste. I have been concerned that the distilled water I buy is in a plastic gallon jug and have wondered what is leeching out of the jug into the water. I was a registered nurse for 30 years and quit nursing because the trend to treat symptoms and not cure the disease has continued to prevail. I would not have guessed you could absorb more chlorine through taking a shower, than through drinking water.

These are the best articles I have read about distilled water and drinking waters all together. I have tapes showing distilled water when soft music is played to them and that have been prayed over. Someone had pictures on facebook of water that had been put in a micro wave and distilled water. What the molecules looked like. I had never seen that one before.
I have also read that if crystals get around the cells in your body that they cannot absorb the water. Sink water or tap water is 200 ppm calcium, calcium is in tums etc seems like everything has some sort of calcium that we can’t break down. Takes alot of absorbic acid to break the calcium down.
I do not have a distiller. I would really like to have one. I buy distilled water in plastic water jugs but know that the plastic attaches to the distilled water as it is a single molecule so worry all the time and detox to try and rid the plastic particles. thank you

I am unsure about Distilled water use. I have had a reverse osmosis water system in the past, but got tired of the $200 filter changes each year. I would expect certainly less expense with this system and more longevity with the set up.
I really appreciate Vivian’s emails. I follow a lot of her suggestions. I use a “RAW” calcium from sea algae and I do cardio kickboxing 3X per week- a kind of very aerobic dance class (no punching bags involved). My bone density numbers have improved (for what that is worth.
I was never ill till now. I am 52 yrs old and I avoid doctors for very personal reasons. I am trying to eat healthy to keep my body in good shape and my brains clear. During years I made a hobby in reading a lot about diet and nutrition. As a ballet teacher I need lots of energy and have have to provide good nutrients to keep my body balanced and the muscles strong. Vivian’s book is the confirmation that I was pretty close with my intuition.

I am very interested in anything that can help me to improve my bone’s health. I started the program Save our Bones a few months ago, stopped my Boniva after 4 years in treatment, and changed radically my eating habit taking in consideration the acid/basic balance of my diet, with amazing positives results. How does one thank you for all you’re doing to help win the war on osteoporosis? Both of my grandmothers and my mother had osteoporosis. I wasn’t surprised that I had it when first diagnosed in my mid 50’s but found out that some of it was due to a paraprotein in my blood. I just retired from teaching for 38 years and know I must now concentrate on my health! Thanks to you and your program I now have a road map to help fight this!

Vivian your week 1 and week 2 articles were so interesting and informative that I had to pass them on to my brother in NE. I printed them out for my information . Thanks to you Vivian I have improved scan results..I bought 2 books from you and gave up cold turkey on eating anything that had 4 legs..Still one part of my aging bones (my right femur) is at high risk of fracture, but all else improved..Try turkey bacon, with a sautaed portabella mushroom,and garlic. It is delicious and better than a hamburger for your health..It is tough learning all the best to eat and save our bones..Drinking 8-9 glasses of water is just impossible for me, but I try.
Hi…I’m amused at your concept of “gave up cold turkey on eating anything that had 4 legs” (which means not eating animals right?) Yet you eat “turkey bacon”! Does the number of legs then is what makes the different on your health?
The correct statement would be to not eat any food that comes with legs or has eyes… 🙂
I’ve been a vegan for 35 years and don’t have ANY illnesses at 85, except when I fell and broke my leg at 81. Otherwise I’m still (broken leg and all) carrying on with very active sports, very energetic folk dancing, etc. thanks to this pure diet. :o) Rosedala

I have has also been diagnosed with osteoporosis in my back. I purchased your book several years ago and have not gone on any of the drugs. I just had a bone scan. The results were very positive in my hips but my back was a little worse. I would love to win the water filtering system because I have been evaluating different systems and considering purchasing one but the expense has made me wonder what system would be best. Just a thought. Years ago distilled water was sold in the old country (Germany) with skull and cross bones on the bottle, thus it was considered no good for human consumption. What am I missing, that the rage is on for that substance as being good for you now ?

Winning this distiller would really help me heal from my bicycle accident. i have been following your save our bones recipes to help me heal from multiple fractures in my left tibia but am still having trouble healing. I am mostly vegetarian and a slow healer. Am also disabled from this accident so financially cannot afford a distiller. Annie
