You have been an absolute god-send to me. After reading and re-reading your book Save Our Bones, and all the timely articles related to how to improve our health (and the health of our cats), I believe that a home distiller would be like another piece of the puzzle to help me continue to build a healthier life, not only for myself and my family, but the knowledge I receive from you, I also pass along to my friends. Right now, I have been buying and drinking distilled water. However, I don’t really know how well it has been distilled, coming from commercial sources. Also, I don’t know how each brand compares to one another. If I can have my own distiller, I know I can have more control over my drinking water. And a shower distiller would be even more so wonderful. Right now, I can see the effects of our city’s water. My hair and skin are extremely dry and irritated. I have been using a Brita water filter flask that I keep in the refrigerator because they are not sealed. I use a Clear2Go when I travel especially when flying where you do not know about the water in the airports and hotels, but the drinking push/pull spout without a sealable spout cover leaves the concern of cleanliness when carried on the outside of a carry-on bag through airports and air planes. Being an engineer, one looks for more technical specifications on water filters in the quest for the best functional filter available at a reasonable price. How efficient is the WaterWise 8800 and can the filtered container be left un-refrigerated on a counter?
Dear Vivian, Everytime I get an informative E-mail from you, I think back to the time when I did not have the information that you have shared with us.I suffered with pain and intimidation from my Dr.concerning osteo meds,until I discovered your website.I purchased your book,followed your instructions,and here I am a few years later with the most recent Dexa scan that said my bone strength was much improved.(My dr said I had severe osteoporosis).Because of my positive results from Vivians instructions,she is very credible to me.I respect all that she does,and wait patiently for another E-mail with more credible info delivered to me.

I live in a city where we use riverwater and some well for our water source. We are downriver from a larger city with several medical centers. Since getting your Save-Our-Bones Program a year ago my health has improved and I am no longer on any medication and no longer diagnosed with osteopenia. My doctor is amazed. I read your articles regularly and save them in a file so I can refer back to them from time to time. I am currently buying Distilled Water for drinking and food preparation and as long as I stay healthy I will be able to continue to do that but if groceries and other things continue to go up I may have to change my buying habits dratically and pick and choose what is more important in the future. My husband and I both have some issues with our bones. Our city has put in a multi-million dollar water system which is wonderful, but I do believe that there is still a percentage of chlorine in this water. I recovered from osteoporosis once and am at that cross road again at age 71. I do not believe in the drugs given for this problem though am a retired R.N. (my cause was a complete hysterectomy early in life and now must take nexium for esophogeal ulcers etc.) Your bone plan makes sense. I filter my water but a distiller would be another step forward so hope I am so lucky! Thank you for all of your well written info for better health.

Two of the most DIRECT causes of health problems are AIR and WATER. So distillng WATER just prior to drinking is the most important way of getting the best water possible. Amen
I think this is awesome. I have desired a new water distiller as mines is not working properly, it’s leaking and I can’t find anyone to fix it. I only drink distilled water because I know of the impurities in my city water and I strive to stay healthy.
The distiller would sure help me get to my goal of 115 since I,m going to 90 this month and water is a vital part of good living.

I have read that fluoride can not be removed by filters, and reverse osmosis leaves water acid. And I have also read that distilling removes minerals, which would include fluoride, but would that include beneficial minerals? Never the less, a distiller would be appreciated to make the water pure, I buy distilled water in a plastic jug twice a month.
I don’t trust bottled water and therefore do not drink it. I drink tap water, However I live in a city with a steel mill and the water may have all kinds of impurities and chemicals in it. It sue would be nice to have a distiller

I really enjoy reading all of your Save Our Bones info. I am 62 and have osteopenia but so far have been doing fine. I do your heel exercises and my last bone density scan revealed I had actually increased bone density in my hip area. I have been taking calcium supplements with D-3 for years and magnesium. I have never been on any hormone replacements or anything for my bones. I have never believed in those. I also try to eat as healthy as possible with lots of salads and vegetables, no dairy products, no eggs and so on. I would love to win the distiller since I also believe it is the better water to use. I have had to purchase the distilled water by the gallon at the grocery. I had previously used sink filters but they only reduce certain chemicals and are expensive. Thank you for your continued efforts to help women and men to be knowledgeable about their bones. Kathy
