I have experienced so many healthful changes in my life since finding the Save Our Bones Community. When diagnosed with osteoporosis and told by my Dr that I should start taking one of the prescribed medications I knew I didn’t want to do that and started the research on my own and found the Save Our Bones website. Pure drinking water is the essence of vitality for life, refreshing every cell; were you aware that new born babies are made of about 89% water? No wonder they are so content in their mother’s womb.
Adults need pure water to energize the cells too to keep the body limber.
Your the best Vivian–I usually go past all my email to get to you 1st. It’s my favorite & most encouraging email. I could really use this as I work–volunteer– at a 20 unit apartment building for formerly homeless women with children & intact families as well & my husband is a pastor. I love what I do, but I’m on a fixed low income & rarely have any extra money for things like this distiller which would be great as I only occasionally can buy distilled water–too expensive. I have the old Bone Health Revolution book & then when you had the slightly bent copy or whatever of the Save our Bones book new edition I got that as well. I try to follow everything–wish you had a cook book of breakfast, lunch & dinner recipes that follow the 80/20. Sometimes I get confused if I’m eating the right amounts. I don’t understand why Blueberries & walnuts are on the bad list as I call it. Your newsletters are always so helpful. I just can’t always afford all the foods I’m suppose to eat together. Good day, I wish to thank you so much for your diligence in research and the sharing of that knowledge. There is so much information available, much of which on the surface seems plausible, that without doing a thorough search and have an understanding of the functions of the human body and its parts, one can find themselves in a quandry about how to go about utilizing the information wisely. For example, was considering a water ionizer before your comment about an alkaline liquid introduced into the stomach simply caused the stomach to increase acid production; thereby, aleviating many of the proposed effects of the alkaline water. It makes so much more sense now to enhance the diet with alkaline foods that make it to the small intestines where the ph can be adequately changed and enhanced to produce a slightly alkaline presence in the body. As it is understood that a slightly alkaline presence aids the body in preventing the growth of bacteria (unwanted) and viruses. Thus I applaud your efforts and look forward to continued education that encourages stronger bones and a healthier body. Keeping the body hydrated and nourished allows it to do its job to the best of its ability. With all the carcinogens present in many of the foods and water we consume, it only makes sense to start with purity (as much as possible) of the one thing that is 70% of who we are and support that purity with a much needed exercise and nutrient activity in order to attempt to achieve a healthier and happier body.
I currently have a reverse Osmosis water filter but have heard that it isn’t the best……would be very interested in a more effective water

I live in Santa Barbara, California where the water is horrible…and I could definitely appreciate this amazing gift! I have a tendency to drink healthy alternatives but there’s nothing like a good glass of water. I can’t say how much I would benefit from
being able to drink yummy tasting water. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I might be one of the lucky winners.

This looks like the best system I have seen. The size is good too as some of the distillers are large and bulky and this one is compact. I do drink a lot of water and have been using the faucet PUR filter. But, when I ran out of filters I did not have the money (I live on a limited budget) so have had to drink bottled water for the last couple of months. I do read you letters you send via my e-mail and find the information very informative. I am 80 years old and still drive as my responses are very good. I do have severe osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, but try to keep moving the best I can. I want to thank you for you informative newsletters and wish I had been getting them sooner, before my bones deteriorated so much. I have always tried to be heath conscious and take supplements but have not been able to always buy them now. When I read the email this morning, I thought this would be the only way I would ever have a chance to get a countertop distiller. Being on a fixed income, I would never be able to purchase one for myself.
I have just joined the Save Our Bones program and I am so grateful to Vivian because I am really learning so much about my bones and how they are made. I find it very interesting.
I told my Doctor about the program and told her that I was discontinuing the Boniva injections every three months and was starting the SAVEOURBONES way of eating. I’m so glad I found you when I did as I was being pressured by my doctor to take Fosamax as my DEXA scan showed scores that had worsened. My doctor was being very intimidating and was using scare tactics and emotion to sway me and I was feeling very uninformed–I just knew in my heart that drugs were not the answer. i drink distilled water because it tastes better than the hard water coming from my tap which cotains all sorts of chemicals which are supposed to kill germs but do not do my health much use.I also use it to make oygenated water to help kill germs.
Is the water distiller better than the machine making alkaline water?
This is wonderful information. I have severe osteoporosis, which is turning around through your Osteoporosis Reversal Program and I also have COPD. I try to avoid chlorine and have been trying to drink filtered water to help my bone health. I have been looking for a shower head. Apparently, shower heads are notorious for breedning bacteria, which is not good for lung health.
As I have retired and don’t have much money, it would be wonderful to win. I am still very active. I participate in track and field, in the Masters Program, so I believe I have very many healthy years ahead, if I am cautious with diet, exercise and avoid toxins.

This is the first time I’ve heard about this. I really don’t know how good this product is. I’m confused on what water filtration to use. Right now I’m trying the Kangen water filtration that my sister-in-law has, after reading your review on this, I don’t know whether to purchase it or not.

I do have osteoperoses and I also have MS (multiple sclerosis)what makes me very tired. I believe that a water distiller will help my bones but also my MS and the fatigue I suffer from.
I live in New York/ Manhattan and they say the water is good, but i always use a brita filter.
I do believe distilled water would be the best and healthest!

Dear Vivian, after 5 years on Actonel, my (then 67 year old) mom had a bone scan and the doctor told her “it looks okay, but I think we should switch you to the once-a-year injection, instead”. Of course I freaked out and started researching. I was disgusted with what I found out about all those meds, but luckily…I found you! Your book is amazing! We love our new way of eating! I say “we” because now I am taking better care of myself and my family, so that we can avoid this problem in the future. Water is a big concern of mine. I just returned from watering all my outdoor plants. I am so good at keeping them hydrated as I realize that they are healthier and not prone to disease when I do. However, I realize that I’ve not been that good with my own body and will now nourish my body with water more often to keep me healthier.
