I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package', which normally sells for $510.
- Runners-Up: Five lucky winners will receive the Waterwise BPA-Free Sports Bottle.
I really love being in control of my water with the Waterwise distiller, and I'm sure you will too!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

love your whole healing concept
I have been following your program for 3 years now and feel so much better. My T-score has also improved! I thought I was drinking good water from my refrigerator that dispenses filtered water until recently. I went to visit a friend for 3 weeks who had reverse osmosis water and it was so good. Actually I could feel a difference in the way I felt, physically and emotionally. I would love to have a distiller for even better water!
I have enjoyed your water week series very much, and I have learned a few things that will benefit me in the future. Thank you.
This sounds like a great system. I hope to win it.
I have just finished reading a paper on Fluoride published in 2004. Oh my goodness! I have been avoiding excess fluoride for years but didn’t understand how far reaching it was. The distiller sounds like a very valuable tool for good health. Thank you for allowing me to enter this contest!
I am on a well but the package would still be useful.
I have an old distiller, It is about 15 years old and in need of some repair. It is stainless steel, but has a plastic jug that the water runs into. I don’t know if it is BPA Free. I also store the water in plastic jugs so don’t know if they are BPA free. I would like to enter the “Win A Free Distiller Sweepstakes. Thank you for your offer. Helen Emerick
I tried this before, and it said, I had a duplicate comment. I didn’t. But now that I’m responding, we will see what happens.
This is quite a coincidence – after reading your comments about distilled water I decided to start buying it, however I can’t find it here in my small town of Pahrump, NV. Neither WalMart nor Albertson’s ever have it in stock. I decided I needed to buy a countertop distiller and have been reasearching them on-line. My two choices in my price range were Nutriteam for $200.00 and H2O Labs for $229.00, but how delighted I would be to win the Waterwise 8800!! Thank you for all your information on osteoporosis.
Marian
I would like to say I have been looking for a good water filter for not only me but my mother who has aestopeno (hope i spelled it right) arthritis . She doesn’t have a lot of money for a good one, so if I won this I would for sure give it to her. She has been struggling with this for years with very little help, when I get some extra
money I would like to buy her your program . That why with this water distiller machine it would be a great start to help her . Thanks Jayson
All about the health of our family!!! Thank you so much Ms. Vivian.
This machine would sure beat lugging those gal containers of distilled water home from the supermarket!
I love the taste of distilled water, it’s so refreshing.
Sue
Thank you for all the great information you send on to all your readers. I have your book and exercise regularly. I can’t tell you how much it all helps. Thanks again.
I have been doing the save my bones diet along with weight bearing exercise, daily hikes and raw calcium for over a year to no avail. Last bone density test reveled 13% bone loss fast in the past 4 years. I hope that maybe I can build bone or maintain what I have using this water system along with bio-identical hormones. I can’t figure out what else could be going on. My head and heart tell me this is the most logical and safe way to go about building bone and I pray daily that my choice in adding the distilled water will be instrumental in my success.
I thank God for you and your dedication to helping others navigate the confusing and sometimes scary world of health and medicine. I was diagnosed 3 years ago with osteoporsis — even though I was only 52 and have worked out all of my adult life. I only had a brief, but terrifying experience with Actonel to learn that I must find a way to regain my bone health naturally. Through your work I have learned about alakalinty and ph balance. It would be a life saver to me if I were to win the distiller. Finances are such an issue — it’s likely to be the only way I could ever own one. God Bless You for all you give! Nancy Johnson
Thank You! I have appreciated you as a resource in helping to inform myself about the hazards being faced in our modern times. You are a welcome addition to the on-line community of health conscious assets.
Thank you for your comments. I wish I could afford to buy a distiller for all my kids. I have an older model, so would really like a new one.
Too bad that more people don’t realize what they are doing to their bodies-water/food/junk.
Great info! Also, I wonder if you have a solution to my water problem. I have my own well, but it has so much iron that turns everything light brown.
Thanks.
we have a boil water warning for our area and it would be nice to just turn the tap for drinking water.
Thank you for all of the valuable information about using distilled water versus regular tap water. I was not aware of the value of distilled water until now.
I’ve really appreciated the water information so much, especially the caution about the effect of alkaline water on the digestive system. So sensible and straightforward, which is what I have come to expect from you, Vivian.
Thank you!
Your articles are well written, informative and interesting. We do purchase water through a company but it is filtered through an expensive machine. I am convinced distilled is better, but my spouse doesn’t want to pay the difference.
Also my mom is the one who is is really into the superior quantity of this type of water. Now at age 88, she gets her own water ins smaller containers , because she can’t have it delivered anymore.
Obviously, it would be easier not to go to a special store to get our supply.
I’d like to be able to share with her too. ( BTW- she also has osteoporosis ). She used to swim 15 laps a pop, or walk four miles. Two years ago, she fractured her back ( she lives on her own ), from grabbing a flimsy fold up cart/ while losing her balance trying to reach over and open her backyard fence. : (((
it would be just great to win this water system. i am now using the “brita” pitcher system and although it works well it can be a nuisance to remember to buy and replace the filter approx every 2 months, as well as an added expense to me as a senior living on a limited pension.
i am certainly enjoying and benefitting from your articles in “save the bones” program. i too was put on fosamax. however, after using this for approx 3 years i found it was not helping to strength my brittle bones. the scary thing is i am having some extensive dental work done and the dentist has advised me after being on fosamax the jaw bone may be at a risk of necrosis.
Many thanks Vivian, The very first time i came across your subject, BONES,I readily sign for free information, lectures, studies and prevention on how to take care of our bones. Since I am 53 years of age, I really need much information about health. You are a gift from heaven. All the information I learned from every subject you sent me is very beneficial. I always forward every single message to all my relatives and close associates. Thank you very much!
Vivian, I read your comments on water with interest, as I do all your emails. Thanks so much for all you have shared with us. It’s such a great antidote for a visit to the physician. I wonder though, about water. I’ve read pros and cons about distilled water, the cons being that we need the minerals present in water and that drinking distilled water will pull minerals from your body. What do you think about this? You’ve just about got me convinced that these products would be good for my health and I’d live to win the distiller and shower filter. Thanks again, Karen
After reading the information you published concerning distilled water, I feel you have done sufficient research to convince me that distilled water is definitely the best for our bones.
Thank you for all you do!
Linda
I’ve been a fan of Vivian’s for a couple of years now. I look forward to her emails so full of information and useful tips. By following the “Save Our Bones” program, my health and dexa scan numbers are improving. Thank you, Vivian, for all the work you do to help us. I especially like the upbeat encouragement you give.
Thanks,
Marcia Bailey
Great info! Thank you.
How are you Vivian, I believe that how your system cooks your elements is going to determine how your health is going to be. We live in a harsh world, and there are different elements some harsh some mild, that all have to be processed by one’s system. Its nice to know that good water is out there to help the process along. What people don’t realize is that there is a time fiber to allow that to happen which is the magic of the process. Earth, Wind, Fire, Water. If we were all the same we would be ants or flies.
Thanks for all your great research and emails! Keep up this most important work! Thanks too for the sweepstakes, an exciting prize!
Always willing to try the alternative to prescription drugs & pharmaceutical companies!
Who knew there was so much to water?! Thanks for the info.
If Vivian supports the Waterwise distiller, then I want one too, because I totally trust Vivian’s opinions on bones, supplements, etc!! My research is completed!!
My physician has been “pushing” for me to take some of the prescriptions for bone loss for several years now. I am a firm believer in natural ways of supporting the body to heal itself and have been pleased to be receiving your emails. Keep up the good work…and thank you!
I would love to win !!!
Thank you for all of your emails. I learn so much and appreciate your need to help others. We don’t even have to pay for all of your knowledge and research. I live in Oregon and we have a well. We had our water tested and it came out fine but it is expensive and they had to drill down 100′ more since the last test. It would be so wonderful to have the distiller and not have to worry about the quality of our water. I only drink bottled water now. We do cook, bath and wash our dishes with water from the well. I figure if it is heated it should be better. Again thank you. Linda
Sad commentary that we do not have access to pure water. Have been investigating filtration options for quite a while and am excited that perhaps a countertop distiller may be the answer.
Thank you for all this great information!
I have been using distilled water for years and love it. I would love to win a distiller for my son and his family as their tap water is very hard. Thank you for all your very helpful information. I appreciate all the research you do and that you share it with all of us. Keep up your amazing work.
Blessings,
Lynn
Thank you, Vivian, for your program. Doctors were just about to put me on pills, and finally one said that I just needed to focus on exercise to reverse osteo noted because of an out-of-whack parathyroid. Was so nice to hear a sugeon back what I had learned from you.
I love receiving the Save Our Bones newsletters, it’s like a life-line link when one feels a little isolated.
my doctor has told me i don’t drink enough water. well, that’s true. because i work long shifts and am mostly on my feet, i forget to drink throughout the day. i don’t like the taste of tap water so i buy bottled water because i thought that was better. never thought that was not so. am eager to win this sweepstakes so i can drink more safe and better water for my health !
Since discovering your site and ordering your program, I have become more educated in saving my bones. I have alerted all of my friends and family to come to this website so they will NOT be a statistic by taking the osteoporosis drugs that the doctors are too quick to prescribe. Thank god none of them had taken the drugs and are now also doing the Save Your Bones program. Thanks for all of the great information and newsletters.
You only get one set of bones when you are born.
What a nice gift a Waterwise package would be to
save my bones and improve my health.
After reading all the comments about water safety, I am anxious to start distilling my own water, particularly since I also need to have distilled water for the BiPap machine that I use at night. Finding distilled water at a reasonable price in stores is a challenge and then I have to lug the heavy bottles home. It would be great to have my own supply!
What a nice opportunity! I would like to see everyone in the world drinking wonderful pure water.
Find all the information you provide very helpful.
I value all your news about how to be healthier. I have been drinking distilled water from the grocery store ever since I read what you said about it being better for me (also with a touch of lemon juice). Keep up your valuable work. Thank you.
Hello, I just turned 59. I have your book and exercise plan. After following the plan in your book for the last 6 months (just started the exercise plan), my bone density test last month showed NORMAL from having had osteopenia for the last 6 years. Thank you. Your advise just makes sense to me. Thank you for shining the light on this subject. I plan to continue with the plan and taking the suggested supplements.
Add lemon to your distilled water for a great flavor!
