I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package', which normally sells for $510.
- Runners-Up: Five lucky winners will receive the Waterwise BPA-Free Sports Bottle.
I really love being in control of my water with the Waterwise distiller, and I'm sure you will too!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

Vivian,
Thank you very much for sharing your great knowledge with us.I am very happy that I have found your web site with all very valuable information. I have bad osteo, had several spinal fractures.I have made changes following your advice.I am drinking distilled water for 1.5 years now. Learned about this from you. But it is very difficult for me to carry this heavy for me bottles from the store after my fractures.
It will be a blessing to win a distiller. Thanks a million for another great advise. Always waiting for your e-mails.Best regards.
Thank you so much for all the invaluable information about nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, etc.! The water issue is something I haven’t tackled due to funds, but I would love to share the water with my elderly mother-in-law and breastfeeding daughter-in-law too.
I’ve switched to distilled water and it tastes so much purer than tap water. I buy it at the grocery store for appx. 89 – 99 cents per gallon. The home distiller would be very convenient!
Thank you for all you have done to make my live healthier and alerting me to my water problems as I do drink gallons of it!
Hi my name is Michelle I would love to win this package I can not afford a distiller I get $700.00 disabilty. I was in a car accident 9 years ago and am still having surgerys, Oct 3 I have back surgery and that will be the 7 surgery and I still need to have two more surgerys after the back. My sister got me your program because the doctors really messed me up bad with all of the meds they gave me Osteoporosis in both hips in the red, also I ended up a Diabetic. So I am doing all of the right things by eating good and working out as much as I can and following your program. But I am not drinking distilled water, I was steaming it for awhile but that take to long. So please I really need this package Thank you and God Bless you for your program
Good comments, Vivian, on water. It’s always important to consider water as it is the basis of all life. It helps so much to have the comparisons of water types and why each type of water has pros and cons. Thanks as always for your excellent research and support!
Am swearing off the biphosphonates; Reclast just seems to be robbing Peter to pay Paul. Now I have no calcium in my long bones, but the hips are better. Problem is, I’m a Hiker! So I am in fear of falling and breaking femurs, tibias, etc. Am going natural! The distiller would be a great addition to the Program.
I so appreciate your website and the information you have compiled for all of us who read it.
I read it as often as I possibly can and recommend it to everyone who will listen. I have learned so
much from your information. Thank you, Vivian.
WATER WATER EVERY WHERE AND NOT A HEALTHY BIT TO DRINK
I’ve never heard of this distiller. I’m very interested. It was been outstanding to win one…but I might check into getting one if I don’t.
Thanks,
Sue
Nothing but cool, clean water …
I really enjoy & appreciate the information that Save our Bones gives to people. The information is invaluable. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much Vivian for all you emails. I purchased your Save Our Bones materials and have learned lots. Since I am not a pill taker, I was thrilled to come upon your website and all the information you offer. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis a number of years ago and refused to take the medication that was prescribed (Actenol). I decided I would try exercise and diet to maintain bone density. I work out five mornings a week (treadmill, stationary bike, floor exercises, weights) as well as walk 4 miles three evenings a week. I have been purchasing distilled water and would love to win the distiller. I was quite surprised to hear about dairy products, milk in particular with regard to Calcium and bone health. I have switched to Almond Milk but still eat some cheese and also greek yogurt. I have since heard the same thing about milk at a Wellness seminar which my husband attended with me. He was skeptical about the whole milk thing but I have been sharing your articles with him and he is no longer so sure about milk! Thanks again for all the information. You’ve made a significant difference in my concern about Osterporosis. I’m all for trying to prevent/treat health conditions the natural way – no drugs if possible!

I love pure water as water hydrates the bones and the joints. It is imperative to drink water without chemicals, prescription drugs and all other contaminations that are unhealthy. These contaminations may cause you to be sickly or could take your life.
Even bottled water may be water taken from a facuet with claims of being purified with mineral added. We just don’t know where this water came from not to mention what is in it. Having a water distiller in your home is a sure thing to have clean water which is a necesity for healthy living.
Thanks for all the useful information you provide on this topic!
Great information, clearly explained and shared. Thank you.
Thanks for all the information you share to help everyone make healthier choices. Water is essential, good healthy water is even better!
Saved me a lot of research time for the counter top distiller
Follow your site, find the information given very interesting, have put some of your ideas into action. Will be getting follow up bone density soon and are hoping to have good results.
Thanks!
Thank you for saving me from the same fate as my mother who is paying the price now for years of taking prescription medications.
This looks amazing. Had never heard of it before.
i found a waterwise 880 for $299.00 , slightly used in a new box. i picked it
not only for the price, but the features of convenience and longivity.

I am in the process of moving to a new home and the water distiller would make a great addition to our new kitchen!
Thank you for all the information you provide. Your program is awesome!
would love to be able to help protect our bone density by winning the water distiller
Thanks Vivian for all the well-researched info you share with us – free of charge no less. I look forward to learning more!

HI Vivian,
Your articles about water make a lot of sense to me and it makes me realize again how precious a good, clean water is for our health.
Thank you,
Barbara
In my cancer treatment it was recommended that I drink distilled water.
Flouride and clorine were not good and well water may contain harmful bacteria when your immune system is at an all time low. I took their advice and drank bottled water delivered from a local company. I always thought well water was the best. Not so!! I learn something new everyday.
I enjoy the information you send out to us. Thank You
These emails are a great source of information. Very useful and helpful.
Vivian, I thank you for all the wonderful information that you give us
most every day. I was diagnosed with osteoporosis last year. I am in
my early 70’s and I am so blessed by God. I feel great, have lots of
energy, walk 3 or 4 miles a day and cannot believe that I have osteoporosis. I have another test in November. I am not on any medication
for my bones. I take vitamins, have drunk distilled water for years. I
buy it in bottles. It would be nice to have a distiller.
Thanks so much Vivian!
Ruby McKinley
I am very conscience of drinking water that is good for you. There are so many things in this world that are against our health. At least we can drink good water if we have a distiller.
Thanks for all you do!
I’m so happy I found your information on the web. I have already been diagnosed with osteopenia, and am nervous about my next bone scan. It’s so great that you provide us with the knowledge and information to help ourselves without resorting to dangerous drugs.
You provide a wonderful resource for those of us who want to educate ourselves and not have to resort to what mainstream medicine is telling us to do.
Wishing you all the best in fighting the “good fight”.
Rebecca,
Don’t be nervous. Follow this program and you WILL repair your bones. I was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago with osteopenia and had two bone scans with worse and worse results. Then I found Vivian online and bought her book. I followed her plan and just had a bone scan…all my numbers are within normal range. You can do it, too!
Robin
I’ve been using your program for the last couple of years and have recently been drinking more distilled water. Winning this would be wonderful.
I appreciate your emails. I learn a lot from them and they reinforce my beliefs in a natural approach to health. Thank you
Many people do not realize that water makes up more than half our body mass, so to say it’s important for good health would be an understatement. It’s essential. More than 83 percent of our blood volume is water; so when we’re chronically dehydrated, we simply don’t have enough blood flowing through our bodies. Also our body loses large quantities of water from daily activities, including exercise and respiration. Consumption of alcohol, beer, soda, sugar drinks, tea and coffee work as diuretics, causing our body to promote fluid loss through sweat and urination. They dehydrate us and cause less fluid to be available for removing toxins and moving bowel obstructions out of the body. All the more reason for us to drink plenty of filtered water, which will help to balance our bodily functions and strengthen our immune system. Water purity is a serious issue, so it makes sense to invest in a high-quality filtration system.
Always wanted a distilled water thing, but just can’t afford this.
We are on a fixed income and my husband tells me I’m nuts, he does
buy me bottled water, don’t know if that is as good as this distilled
device. But I do have a lot of problems with spinal stenosis, a
herniated disc, degenerative disc, and lots of pain from my sciatica.
Don’t know that this would help me, but I sure would like to have
something to try and get rid of all this pain I endure everyday for
the past 5 years.
There are too many harmful elements in our present age that negatively impact our bodies – air, pollutants in food, and now it appears even the most essential WATER is also negatively impacted. Without water man cannot survive. Our bodies are constantly fighting both external and internally ingested pollutants (we’re not aware of). I will explore Dr. Goldschmidt’s recommendation to drink distilled water as the best alternative we have today for good water to drink.
I love the opportunity to increase healthy choices for my family of 7. We have a budget and are slowly saving towards a complete household water filtration system! Good luck to everyone!
I heard that drinking distilled water will pull minerals from your bones??? could this be true? should we take extra minerals to compensate? or put minerals back into the water I’ve heard of this also
I had heard that as well…, about the caution about distilled water.
also we have well water that is fine bacteria-wise and no flouride, and good tasting;-)) so what is wrong w/ it?
i alkanalize my water w/ the juice of a half a lemon [ plus all the lemon material sans the seeds]morning and evening as part of my ‘cancer tx’.
good to have many forums. thanks for the input.
Theres nothing better then water to cool you down. I grew up on well water. I refuse to drink city water because of the over chlorination. If I buy a bottle of water I buy reverse osmosis water. I have an airrater attached to my water pump just to take the rotten egg smell out of my water. It’ ok to drink, it just smells a little.
This would be an awesome win! I am on well water, but have been buying those heavy gallon jugs of distilled water from Walmart. Thanks for this chance to win a distiller!
I drink Smartwater much of the time, but it sounds like the distiller would save money in the long run.
Many thanks to Save OUr Bones for all the helpful information!
have the water-free bottle. It is real good
Thirty years ago I had a water distiller and really enjoyed it until it finally wore out. With your comments reminding me how much it does to get chemicals out of my water, I think that I will get another one.
Thank you for such an informative website and weekly email update. I pass on helpful tips and hints to other people.

Hopefully the distiller system would solve the aches and pains in my hands.
I am so thankful for all the research that Vivian is doing and sharing, regarding “bones”. It is continually
changing how I think about what I eat or drink. Though tough to adhere to, strictly, I know it is making a
difference, and I am anxious for my friends and family to share and benefit from the information.
