I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

I would love a Waterwise countertop distiller. I already have the Showerwise shower head and we are enjoying better skin and hair. It’s the best thing we ever did – water wise. We are considering a whole house filtration system as we have very hard water that leaves terrible deposits on sinks and fixtures. Always looking for ways to healthier water. Thanks for all the helpful information.
Jeanne
i don’t like drinking water from plastic bottles, so would love to win this!
Very interesting article on water options: logical, and thorough. You really convinced me that distilled is the way to go.
Vivian,
Thanks for the info about water you’ve provided us. About a year ago I switched to distilled water that I get at the grocery store in gallon jugs. I buy about 5 of them every two weeks. A home water distiller would be great! Thanks for the chance to win one.
Nancy
It is very interested to get this knowledgeable material in such compacted format which is readable and understandable. Thank you for such valuable information.
I love reading your information, I also bought your book, and have passed it along to lot of my friends to read it. I love the list of acidic and alkaline foods you provided. It is interesting how misinformed some of us are about acidic and alkaline foods.
Thank you so much for all your work and the information you provide.
I am always looking forward to receiving your e mails and all the information you provide.
Thank you,
Geeta
Vivian,
Thank you very much for the information on Save Our Bones and also for the great follow-up on distilled water. This truly is valuable information and great service for me. I look forward to you next e-mail

Vivian, thank you for helping people like me cut through the lies and get serious about bone health! I am expecting my first baby soon, a girl, and will be sure to educate her on the principles of bone health I’ve learned from you.
I really enjoy the emails regarding osteoporosis as I am learning a lot about how to manage it.
Vivian:
I have learned so much from your site, and constantly check it and read all your emails before I select vitamins, diet, etc…..and now water!!!
Thank you for the very thorough research that you make available to the Save Our Bones community.
I will look into the shower head too….looks like a great product also.
Again, thank you for the ministry of health and healthy bones you provide to your readers.
Sincere regards,
Cathie Roohk
Dear Vivian,
you are a saint, your website a godsend.
I really enjoy all of your information and advice regarding Save Our Bones. Keep it coming.
I thank you so much. I have been trying to find some kind of filter to get the flouride out of my water so that I don’t have to buy distilled water. At nearly 87 years of age and quite a bit of body pain these days, I surely don’t like having to carry gallons of water into my house each week. I understand the need for purification of our water if needed, but I can’t understand adding fluoride and taking away just pure water as God gave it to us. Why can’t people who want fluoride add it to their water, instead of us having to find a way to take it out? I have always frozen some of my vegetables that I usually grow. You have ta boil them a couple minutes and then blanch them in several pans of cold water. I don’r want to rinse them in flouride!! Then I have to buy gallons of water for that, too? Also, I want to rinse my berries when I pick them–in flouride??? No thanks. Thanks so very much. I would surely like to have a distiller like you have told us about.
After having broken both wrists, one in 2010 and one this year, I had a bone density scan (DEXA). Results were that I have moderate bone loss, not quite into the osteoporosis category. When the technician gave me a list of calcium supplements and instructions to eat more dairy, I told her I’d read that the latest findings about calcium supplementation is how they can help build arterial plaque. She said she was still taking her old standby calcium as the studies “were too new” to believe.
Happily, Vivian’s program arrived just in time. Her scrupulous studies and ongoing research is so thorough and convincing. I’m now taking TrueOsteo as well as working on alkalizing my body. Can’t wait to see results of next DEXA in 2 years!!! Thank you, Vivian.
Thank you, Vivian, for your dedication to educating those of us who are dealing with osteoporosis. A long time ago I took your advise and started drinking only distilled water, but I did not know a countertop water distiller was available and that it could be so easy. At present I have distilled water delivered to me in 5-gallon bottles that are hard to lift into the dispenser. The water distiller is definitely the better way to go. I hope to be the lucky winner but I would be glad for anyone who wins this awesome prize. Happy days to you, Pat
I am interested in pure water.
I’ve been grateful for your weell thoughtout advice throughout the years. and want to thsnk you.
I am following the “Save our bones book” and do believe it is helping me.
I have a brita water filtering pitcher in my fridge at all times, however, I
don’t think it is as good as the distilled water system. I hope I win!!!!!
Thanks for all your good advice.
Ruth
I appreciate and enjoy your articles.
Oh!
I am so glad you are having this contest and sending out information about how we can have GOOD, CLEAN water to drink and bathe in!!
I loved that you prompted discussions/questions on home water distillation.
I did not know before this that this is the best way to have uncontaminated water. I have been trying to figure out for the longest time which is the best and least expensive system to use and I have been so confused!
I definitely want to get a distiller and will tell others about this… so I HOPE I WIN!!!
Thanks for your dedication to health!!
Best,
Ann Brinkley

A friend is recovering after breaking her ankle with just a slight twist in her foot. This is her third fracture though. She has been on Fosamax for 6 years. I am certainly not perfect with the “Osteoporosis Reversal Program”, but now I think she is interested.
Thank you for all your valuable information. It would be a “dream come true” if I won the Waterwise distiller! I am on a tight budget and buying distilled water is not affordable for me.
Sincerly,
Carolyn
I love your newsletters and all the helpful information we receive from them. I refer to your book almost weekly to keep on the right track.
I have never really thought about getting a distiller until I read your recent reports. We have a well that is 150′ deep and has wonderful water and never thought that it would need filtering. I take water from home to drink at work as the water there is chlorinated. You can even smell the chlorine when you turn on the tap. I researched distillers after your newsletter last week and have been thinking of getting one. Winning one would be even better!
Love you and all you do for those of us that would rather “cure” ourselves than take some chemical pill to cover up the symptoms (and create more). Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I don’t like buying distilled water in those gallon plastic jugs; I worry about chemicals leaching. It would be great to make pure, sweet water at home!
If you’re gonna drink water,
(And really, you oughta);
Then learn to dispense,
‘Cause you know it makes sense.
Distill from the tap,
And you’ll clear out the c***;
You’ll feel fresh inside,
And with no pesticide.
(sorry, best I could do on a Monday night!)
Dear Vivian, I really appreciate all your effort to help us! It is obvious you are so sincere about helping others. You provide SO much free information for us and save us so much time from having to research ourselves. I do trust your information because it has never contradicted other wise info. I was told to take horrible osteoporosis meds and after reading the horrible side effects I went on line to do research. I thank God that He led me to you! You confirmed what I knew in my heart and I refused the meds. I am so thankful and grateful to you. May you be blessed for all you do.
I always read your e-mails I also bought your book Bone Health. I went today to buy a Brita filter that was one of the ones you recommended. Thanks I decided to wait though to see if I win your water distiller if not back to the store. Thanks Jackie
Oh how I have so enjoyed your newsletters! I have followed you now for a very long time and had good results on my last BD test. The water research you presented this last week has set in on me and now I don’t want to drink my tap water. I have been drinking bottled water the last few weeks during the day at lunch and dinner, but now I want distilled water. You have convinced me that distilled is the only way. Not sure how I’m going to go about providing that distilled water on my limited Soc. Sec. income, but will make some efforts to find a way. Thank you so much for being the awesome guide for all of us with bone density issues.
Forever grateful,
Linda Williams
I had no idea how important and healthful distilled water could be. I always thought that healthy water had to contain minerals. This Save Our Bones series on water has been informative and life changing. Thank you so much for enlightening me.
hi love all your advice, keep going
I ♥ Pure Wager !!
I love your e-mail updates – they’ve been so helpful in my life. You share such good information and observations.
Thank you!
We have been using a Waterwise distiller for almost twenty years. It continues to work beautifully and we use it almost every day for all our cooking and drinking water needs.
Many years ago a nutritionist told me to drink distilled water. Last week I saw an orthopedic dr. for a badly bruised knee – he said I have “young healthy bones” – better knees than his! I was so excited about this diagnosis – the pain immediately seemed unimportant! All this after x-rays and an MRI. And I am 74 yrs old – going on 39!
I have been drinking distilled water for 20 years and often wonder about the plastic bottles it coms in. I transfer the water a gallon at a time into glass bottles that I have collected over the years, (by pouring out the drink that comes in it – just to have the bottle) but, I still wonder about the plastic bottles it comes in. What a boon it would be to be able to make my own distilled water after all these years and not worry any longer about my drinking water sitting in plastic, for who knows how long, before I drink it.
AND, a big THANK YOU for your book, it has helped me reverse my bone density loss.
Thanks for this exciting opportunity to win a water distiller. I would love to have one very much. I think distilled water is the best option for staying hydrated and also for using in cooking, etc. I hope I am lucky enough win one!
Thank you for all the information. You saved me from going on a dangerous prescription drug!
I am in the process of compiling 80-20 alkaline-acid meals. Here is a favorite breakfast – let me know if it fits the 80-20 target.
Egg fried in olive oil, on a bed of leafy greens, drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice, topped off by slices of fresh tomato and 1/4 of fresh avacado.
Thank you very much for your articles as they have been of benefit to me
as a cancer survivor, a person with osteoporosis, weak LES muscle, etc.
I am confused about my use of alkaline water (before & after meals) and it’s effect on my low HCL situation. I have a ph level that is consistently above 7 and want to keep it in that range. Thanks, again, for
all your helpful & useful information. M. J. Smith
A geru and healer I met in Sedona years ago told me about distilled water. He had a life threatening illness when young and from then on lived on distilled water and green juices when it was virtually unknown. He is now in his eighties and looks half that. I have never forgotten him and would love to win this prize.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Vivian. You’re empowering women.
My sister-in-law has been tellilng me about distillers for years. I would love to win one.
Hi Vivian,
Thank you for your report on water. I have been drinking Kangen water for 5 years and after I read your report, I was alarmed and did research on it. 5 years ago, there was not much information about negative effect of the alkalined water but now it is scary to go through all of it. I can not believe we got rid of our RO for the Scam. I feel foolish. It was very expensive, too.
The distiller seems so much more affordable. I really thank you for your on going research for our health.
I love the idea of pure drinking water free of all contaminates.
Drinking distilled water has been part of my health regimen for at least 25 years. I didn’t know that distilled water was supporting my bones also and that is very good news!
In a world where so many only care about money, Vivian has been a God-Sent to me with regard to osteoperosis (which I have). However, I am SO MUCH HAPPIER since I am following the Osteoporosis Reversal Program. Because of the knowledge to understand exactly what we can do about Osteoperosis, we save ourselvs so much pain and suffering not having to use the “drugs” for osteroperosis, but rather, to eat fresh fruits, vegetables etc. all described clearly in Osteoporosis Reversal Program. I carry my book with me in my bag DAILY. I refer to my book with bookmarks when I go to the grocery store or get into conversations with other people. Osteoporosis Reversal Program has “save” me so much anguish and I smile, feel great, and know that I am doing what is best for my body. THANK YOU VIVIAN!!!!!!! XOXOXOX
Thank you for this incredible opportunity. I am doing what I can to get a healthy lifestyle and still live within my budget. Having improved water would add greatly to my efforts.
This is exactly what I’ve wanted to do since having a new baby. Glad to be able to use this information for my nutrition studies so THANK YOU.
nothing better than fresh clean water.
I’ve just been doing some research on what kind of water is best and the answer is distilled! Thanks for all the information you provide.
Enjoy your informational e-mails. Especially when you provide production descriptions and buying information. You make one think about the foods that one eats. The recipes that you put at the end of some articles are appeciated. Thank you.
