I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package', which normally sells for $510.

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

love what you do.
Thank you, I buy gallon bottles of distilled water now, but would love to win the distiller!
It would be very very good for the health of myself and my family.
I thank you for all the information you provide. I have wanted a water distiller for a long time but the price keeps me away.
Since Fosamax caused by right and then left femur to break within a month of each other, I am fighting for my bones every day; and because of SAVE Our Bones Community, I have been drinking distilled water for over two years and following other procedures for healthy bones and look forward to my next bone density test in December of this year. I have found confidence in hoping that my bones are becoming stronger and have been set free from anxiety and depression after realizing the damage Fosamax caused to my bones. My advise is to keep fighting and one very important way is to drink distilled water. Thank you.
Just getting started and would love to have all the stuff to do this right.
I have learned more about my bones from your site than anywhere. Thanks to you for all your work and effort on our behalf!
Since water is one of the most important things we consume, I always try to buy distilled water. I go through gallons a week and would love to have a water distiller at home. Just the taste makes a world of difference and I can’t even stand to drink tap water any more. I think it makes a huge difference in our bone health as well. Thank you, Vivian, for all the many tips.

This has been so incredibly informative. I would love to win the distiller. Wish me luck.
Great articles, keep them coming….
This would be a very generous gift. Backed with health benefits that will last a lifetime! I have been interested in water quality for 20 years. It is sad that our water supply is being treated with such lack of empathy. Such a valuable resource for all life on Earth. The winner will be very lucky!
I am having a difficult time absorbing calcium. Can anyone relate?
A water distillation system would seem to be superior to any of the off-the-shelf filter units or even a reverse osmosis system.
For years I have been buying distilled water and have thought how great it would be to have a distiller of my own. I worry about what is being put into the bodies of my children and grandchildren. At present we are fighting a land development project which would be less than a mile from some residents. They would like to spray treated sewage (septic tank wastes etc) which would be treated with lime on the fields . We are on well water and worry about our health and property values if this goes through. This would be a welcome aid for our health.
Distilled water consumption is best, and I’ve been considering a purchase. Winning one would be awesome.
Thanks for the invaluable information.
Can’t wait to start using this on my “town” water which tastes like a stale chemical factory.
I could certainly use this. I have osteoarthritis, and my fingernails break easily and have ridges in them. My water source is from a well, and the water doesn’t taste good, it’s brackish. Not only that, the land use on my property has been used to grow alfalfa, which has been sprayed with toxic chemicals. This would be beneficial to my health.
I have your book “Save Our Bones” and have learned soooo much from it. My doctor wants me to take Boniva or have Forteo injections and I respectfully decline because of what you have taught me about their issues. Thank you for putting out such important information.
Thank you so much for all your research you do to help those of us who want to better our health. I have osteoporosis and have enjoyed your articles. I would love to win the distiller that is shown here. My husband & I are heading to Arizona for the winter and am looking for a water system for good, clean drinking water.

YOUR WEB SIT IS VERY INFORMATIVE AND I CAN’T WAIT FOR YOUR NEXT ADVISE ON A DAILY BASES. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT AND HELP WITH OUR BONES
Thank you so much for your informative websites. I have been following you for nearly 2 years now and have benefited from your publications. I am currently on a diet along with your recommendations that stresses to stay away from fluoride, chlorine, and other toxic minerals and additives in my drinking and cooking water to help replenish the beneficial flora in my gut. Please keep up the good work. Lora
i have used distilled water for years in by cpap and oxygen generator and i firmly believe this is the best route to go
I am a 48 year old other of six (ages 14-23)and soon to be grandma! yipee!! I was diagnosed with osteopena a few years ago. Thank you for the information that you send me to help me avoid osteoperosis without taking drugs. I appreciate it!
I am amazed that there is a quality water distiller. And, as always, Viv, I trust in your judgement. The amount of research that you do to assist people combating osteoporosis is an amazing gift. I am so thankful for all of the information that you have processed in order to give help and hope to those confused and fearful of being condemned to living with “osteoporosis” and taking drugs to cure this problem. You have have helped me to see my condition as a challenge; a challenge that I can win with your help and information. I am very thankful for the opportunity to win a distiller. Alln your work and informatio is so very much appreciated.
Thank you.
Monica
Vivian, I am a true follower of your website.
I have followed your program faithfully for years now
and no longer worry about my bone density scores! I feel better
and have lost the arthritic pain in my knees. Whenever I feel like
I’m not 100 percent, I look at my diet and start anew with your 80/20
program and I’m back in the saddle.
My husband loves the idea of getting a distiller, so I’ll take a chance!!
Thank you again for your relentless interest in making others healthy!!
Monica Miele
I have read and referred to you “Save Your Bones” book more than any other medical book I have purchased. I faithfully use distilled water and love the almond milk. Thank you for helping.
all information received is very helpful and encourages me to
keep fighting to live.
God Bless You
Drinking pure water is so important and I would love to be a winner of this contest. I have my own well and although I have a water softener I am sure that the water distiller would be a better answer to my desire for good water. Carrying gallon jugs of water in plastic bottles is definitely not the answer.
I trust Vivian to add distilled water to my daily routine. I’ve been on the “Save Our Bones” program for almost a year and feel great. I’m looking forward to my bone density scan next month. Thanks, Vivian
Aloha, fighting some health issues and could really use a distiller!!!! Love reading your emails, got my dad to buy your program as well. thanks, bert
Thanks for all that you do to share your insights on our bone health!
Deborah, Portland OR
Hi to all,
I am trying my best not to inject chemicals into my body. I usually boil my water. It makes a big difference. When I have no choice and I drink tap water unboiled and unfiltered, the taste is discusting…
Thanks Vivian for sharing with us.
Have a good day.
Louise.
In 1980,at age 47, I was diagnosed with lead poisoning so bad that my body burden of lead went completely off the lab report graph. I’ve been on commercial distilled water ever since. But now, at 79 and recently widowed, I would love to have my own distiller at home so I would not have to carry the heavy gallons from the store, to car, and to the house, since I have spinal stenosis and am not supposed to lift anything heavier than 1-2 pounds. Many weeks I don’t even feel well enough to go shopping to get the water. I’ve also lost 3 inches due to osteoporosis and this is why I’m so thankful I stumbled onto Vivian’s research which I have been sharing with friends. Just recently I learned that I also have adrenal exhaustion and that my mitrochondria are incompetent. I’ve let water evaporate in a container from the tap to prove to others what is added to the water and you’d be amazed at what looks so clear, but is invisible to the eye, are unknown ingredients added without the consent
of those who drink it. Thank you for your courageous reporting, Vivian.
I’ve appreciated all the advice and information I’ve received from Save Our Bones via Vivian’s time and energy. Since joining this Spring, I’ve shared information with friends and family and have encouraged them to join the “community” as well. I’ve also appreciated the suggestions on various products – because I know I can trust your research! and products you support.
Thank you!
I am really intrigued about the advantages of distilled water.
How fortunate we are to be aware of Vivian’s “Save Our Bones” program and to be able to follow her advice. It is great to have a program like Vivian’s that allows us to strengthen our bones and avoid harmful medications. I feel I am truly blessed to have found Vivian’s website. It would be so wonderful to have distilled water at my fingertips, as Vivian suggests, so I do hope I am a winner!
I would love to win as this would help my depleating bones
I have gone from being a woman worried about the consequences of osteoporosis to feeling like a free person, learning more each day about bone health and just general health and I owe it to Vivian and all the great material she sends. It gave me the knowledge and courage to refuse my doctor’s suggestions on taking drugs and I am encouraging friends and family to take charge, to educate themselves, and not be swayed to take anyone’s advice without some knowledge of the drug and its side effects.
I only regret it took me so long to realize that for myself.
I have been following your save our bones program for a while and have enjoyed being able to say no WTO the drugs the doctor wanted to put me on. I have also shared the information with my family and they too have enjoyed better bone health. We always try to drink only pure water without chlorine and fluoride. Sometimes that is not possible so the water filtration system would be of great value to my family and I. Thank you for all you do. It is truly appreciated.

I’m a older woman with a lot of back pain. (spinal stenois, herniated disc, sciatica, pain from neck on down whole back plus foot pain, and shoulder pain). Was on all kinds of meds for years before I saw the light and it really did a lot of unreverseable damaged to my body (A-fib, GERD, plus much more). I have been drinking distilled water since I read it here and my husband has to use it in his CPAP. Our usage of water per week is quite a bit and I buy it from the grocery store but it is getting harder each day to carry those bottles to and from the store and house. I would love to have a distiller at home. Thanks.
I buy distilled water by the gallon, would love to win the counter top distiller. Keep up the good work of keeping all of us informed.
The quality of the water we drink is so important. Thank you for sharing this information. A nutritionist I had worked with when I lived in California had told me about the benefits of distilled water. I had gotten away from following that because it is easy to get distracted by the overwhelming amounts of information out there. Have been through a tough time health wise & have been unemployed for 18 months. Have moved to Chattanooga to be with my sister & brother-in-law & 4 nieces & nephews. The job market here is so much more responsive than Atlanta & I hope to have a job soon. When I do this is definitely a water system I want to look into. What we put into our bodies is so important. I have only bought floride free toothpastes for years & thank goodness it is easier to find choices than it used to be. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.
For years we have been drinking bottled water, and it’s becoming expensive. We need to upgrade to a better system.
Thank you for all you do to help our bones! I enjoy receiving your emails and visiting your informative website. Thanks again!
Thank you for the persistence in the information you strive to present to us all. And thank you for this opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. This would be a tremendous help in keeping my body healthy, and who knows, who else will be able to benefit from the distilled water I will be producing!
Thank you all!
Charles
I have had a water purifying system for years. To learn that distilled water is much better for my bones was something quite new. Thanks for this
valuable information.
I’d love to win the Waterwise Distiller!
Are you exposed to very much radiation to have a bone density test?
Is there another test that would be safer?
Hi Vivian
I’ve subscribed to many health newsletters, and will say that your’s is one of the best. I’m finding the Densercises both challenging and satisfying because I can see that my whole body will be addressed. And… thank you for doing the research on drinking water. I do appreciate you’re thorough explanations of the pros and cons.
Sincerely
Katherine Upton
How grateful I am that there is a woman such as Vivian who is not only knowledgable, but is committed to freely sharing her knowledge with other women concerning balancing of hormones as well as maintaining the health of their bones. Vivian is a Godsend to women as well as men with the information she publishes. I have your book, Vivian, and look forward to the timely posts with updated information. Thank you for your concern and help!
I look so forward to receiving your informative e-mails and reading all the comments. When I was diagnosed with osteoporosis, I found your site and ordered your book. What a blessing and I did not take the meds that my doctor recommended. I now share that book with all my family. Shortly after I was diagnosed with Waldenstrom’s Lymphoma. It is a rare, incurable blood cancer. I am now progressing toward needing treatment, and I know how important keeping well hydrated will be. Your water articles were so informative. You have touched the lives of so many women and given us the hope we all need. God Bless, Sharon
Vivian, thank you for your tireless efforts to educate and empower people to live a healthier life. It is amazing to wade through all the information that is out there regarding both water and nutrition and finally find a definitive voice of sanity related to both. We have well water and could certainly use a distiller to make our water healthier. Thanks again for all you do.
