I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package', which normally sells for $510.
- Runners-Up: Five lucky winners will receive the Waterwise BPA-Free Sports Bottle.
I really love being in control of my water with the Waterwise distiller, and I'm sure you will too!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

I am 83 and so well I remember my dear Mother saying to me so very often when I was young …. Drink plenty of water because that is what makes the Lions strong.” Now, in my old age, my bones are still strong and the best water I have ever tasted comes from an underground well at the back of our property.
Thank you for your info on filter water. I know my well water is OK but does have some things I’d like to stay away from….
Thank you so much for Save Our Bones. I try to follow your advice on foods and water. I add lemon to my drinking water every day. I am also taking Protantim which is five herbs that goes into all your cells and helps fight inflamation and helps keep Osteoporosis away. For more information go to mylifevantage/rosalieogrady.
Water, like grace, must fill our lives, cleanse and renew us. It is life-giving and we cannot survive without it. To be pure, the source must be pure. Let us be always grateful for this gift which is so often taken for granted!
Thank you for sharing your vast knowledge on making our bones stronger. Being told you have osteoporosis can be very frightening, even more so when you read about the side effects of the medications doctors prescribe. You are a light in our lives. We now know that we can make our bones stronger because you’ve shown us the way. Thank you for caring and reaching out to all of us. I so look forward to your valuable emails.
Vivian, your waterwise 8800 sounds like the very best thing to have,I’m just hoping that I win. You are great, very happy to be your friend. Just love to read your emai’s
Love you.

WOW what a distiller. I have a hand filter attached to my kitchen sink fauset. It sounds fantastic. Since I`m on the border line. This would help me so much to strengthen my bone structure I would love to win this. Other equipment is very expensive as the reverse osmosis system,
Sure would save me money by not having to buy bottled water.
This is “Just What the Doctor Ordered”! Thanks!
Thank you for the information. I appreciate the comparison of differing water types. Very interesting!
Sure would save having to buy bottled water
Vivian, I was diagnosed with osteopina a couple years ago and was considering taking meds for the bone loss. I had a few reservations when the orthopediast said “If you have a tooth exptaction you may experience some problems.”I waited and thanks to your webside,I’m grateful I didn’t take the medication. I”m following your advice on diet and not drinking milk.
Thank You So Much,
Linda Peters
I was once told that distilled water was used only for batteries, and, therefore, unfit for human consumption. Fortunately, your article cleared all the misconceptions about distilled water. More power to you!!!
Your emails have been a great source of information. I look forward to reading each one and have made a number of changes in my eating as a result. It would be great to have a countertop distiller. It sure does gettiresome draggin home jugs of distilled water from the grocery store. I only wish I had had the information on distilled water before I installed an under the sink Aquasan filter system last winter (and the darn thing leaks)!
I would like to win the distiller because I have a cracked spine and it would help alot. I read your emails all the time. What wonderful advice you give us. Thank You Thelma Archer. You do not know how much hope you give to people like me
Thank You Vivian for all you do for this community.
I reacted to the drugs and could no longer that them (thank God). I was feeling helpless until I found your program.
Thanks for all the comments each of your readers leave after an article. Their words add to each topic.
You’re absolutely right about the Waterwise Distiller. I used to have one in California but, well you know the legend
of the economy…my husband lost his business and we lost our home/lots of other things as well. Its a story repeated over and over again – however, in everything there is a lesson and I believe we’re happier here in Austin, Texas…sans the distiller! What a wonderful appliance to have available for cooking and drinking water. Whoever wins this will be thrilled. Good luck to all who enter. Good on ya, “Save our Bones” folks…you’re giving out so much vital information re: osteoporosis – I think you’ve probably saved thousands of women.
Wish to thank you for your most useful advices you send on my emailing which I find very useful. Many many thanks and keep it up.Therese
Discovering you Vivian and reading all about the Osteoporosis Reversal Program has been such an enlightment for me. I have in turn told many others about this and hope to spread the word more to our Bone Builders class that I attend weekly. There are so many out there Vivian who need this help, the Save Our Bones program makes so much sense. I’m trying to incorporate one thing at a time from the program, next is the countertop distiller which is so vitally important.
Thanks for the opportunity to try at a chance for this. But, more important is thank you for leading the way for all of us with this very important information…..Sincerely
THEY HAVE PUT CHLORIDE IN OUR TAP WATER, I DON’T WANT ANY PART OF IT.
I AM 79 TRYING TO STAY HEALTHY, ON MY 4TH PACEMAKER. HUSBAND WAS A NAVY CAPT. SO ALL I GET IS A WIDOWS PENSION AND SOC. SEC. EVERY MONTH, WHICH DOES NOT QUITE COVER ALL, IF YOU GET GROCERIES, SO I HAVE ALMOST COMPLETELY DEPLETED WHAT LITTLE SAVINGS I HAD. I HAVE A BRITA FILTER, BUT IT IS ABOUT 7 YEARS OLD NOW, AND LIKE ME IT IS WEARING OUT.
SHALL SAY MY PRAYERS I WIN THE DISTILLER MACHINE, AS I CANNOT AFFORD TO
BUY DISTILLED WATER,AMD THEN YOU HAVE TO CARRY IT
LOVE AND FOLLOW MY SAVE OUR BONES BOOK, TOOK IT TO THE HOSPITAL AND SHOWED IT TO THE SUPPLEMENT DR. AND HE SAID NO WONDER I LOOK GOOD, I ONLY TAKE 1 RX FOR MY HEART. FELL AND BROKE L1, L4, L5 DOUBLE PELVIS AND RIBS T 7,8,&9, BECAUSE I HAD TAKEN FOSAMAX AND ACTONEL – NEVER AGAIN. HAD KYFOPLASTY FOR L1 BUT IT DID NOT WORK.
ALSO HAD 2 IMLANTS, AND AFTEER 1 YEAR WENT TO SEE THE DENTIST, WHEN HE TOOK OUT THE IMPRESSION TRAY, THE WHOELANTS CAME OUT, BACK TO LOMA LINDA HOSPITAL FOR ANOTHER YEAR TO REDO THEM. LOMA LINDA DENTAL SCHOOL IS 81 MILES FROM MY HOME, SO FOR 2 YEARS I WAS BACK AND FORTH. I HAVE HADD IT.
SHALL ANXIOUSLY AWAIT WHO THE WINNER IS.
THANK YOU, MRS. EDIE SHREVE 858-756-0979
Everything you talk about makes a lot of sense, and I trust you completely.
Regards
Madeleine
My husband is with cancer.I hope i win this. Then I can use to treat my husband illnes with the diet he is follouing.
If drinking and using distilled water will give me the same glow that Vivian has in the photo, I’m all for it!
Thank-you, Vivin, for the information you send out – helping us to practice good bone health. We live on a farmstead and have our own
well. With farmland all around, one wonders what all seeps into our
water. We would greatly benefit from a Waterwise Distiller and would appreciate having my name put into the sweapstakes.
I would love to win a water filter. I drink far too little, in spite of knowing how important it is . . . especially since I have had to take medications daily since I was three years old.
Thank you for all your helpful information and for the opportunity to take part in this contest.
Thanks for getting me off Actenol and making healthy changes to my diet
Although my doctor said that I would need to take Reclast, I was able to
improve my scores without either of these mainstream medications.
I have been delaying the purchase of a water filter because I have been confused with the varying information. But now that I receive your emails and the wisdom you have to offer regarding our precious bones and other important topics, I am confident that your choice of Waterwise 8800 must be the best choice. I am excited about the possibility of winning one! Thanks so much for including me.
Love your book and your water series. Finally, I understand which water to drink! I went immediately to the store and bought large jugs of it. The home distiller would be wonderful!
Save Our Bones has been an eye opener for me, it has changed my lifestyle completely. I avoid the osteoporosis medicines and have been following your advice since the past couple of years and feel much better for it.
Thank you so much for all your help in “savin our bones.” If it weren’t for you I would be on fosomex now. My Dr actually prescribed if, but I refused to take it, knowing what it did to my mother. Now I’m on my way to healthy bones! I’ve been drinking distilled water since I read your book, and would love to win this distiller! What a great prize! Thanks!
Your advice has been very helpful. No processed foods and exercise along with common sense make a healthy and sensible life style change. Now, by eliminating all the chemicals and impurities from our main basic staple (water) and creating the purest form of H2O completes the program for a better and longer life.
Appreciate your advice very much. Sure wish doctors would get educated. I feel God steered me to you & your common sense. Thanks
This is exactly what I was need. Your save the bones program is great!
I drink a lot of water from tab and a distiller would make a world of difference.
Thank you for the very informative articles you have been writing, greatly appreciate it. Would love to win the distiller. Have a great day!
Jacquie.
I so appreciate your emails. I have chosen a drug free alternative after going through breast cancer treatment. I am stronger because of the information you share in Save Your Bones program. There is a better way of recovery…drug free! Would love to be considered for your Distilled Water program. Thank you Vivian for all you do!
This is a fantastic prize! I won’t drink tap water because of all the chemicals that are in it. I’m allergic to chlorine, so I have to filter the shower to take them also. My filter wore out late last yr. and I haven’t been able to replace it yet. I go nowhere without taking my water!! Doctors, grocery stores, pharmacies, friends, relatives. I take a thermos, but the BPA-free bottle would be way more practical. A filter for the tub is the only thing you don’t have in this great package. I’ve been looking for one for several years, but can’t find one that will accomodate mine. Thank you for your generosity in giving one lucky person this wonderful gift! Our bones thank you!!
I am suspicious of much health news, particularly anything that begins with “astonishing” or “shocking.” If they follow that with a pitch for $100s worth of products available only through them, I’m really put off. Thanks for being just plain old well researched and relevant.
Thanks for your information regarding the safety of drinking water. Distilled water makes sense. Waterwise looks like a good company, so I would be thrilled to win the countertop 9000!
As I embark on a journey to better health, especially better bone health, I find your emails encouraging and informative. Thank you so much for your guidance.
I was very happy to learn about your Save our Bones program. I am using it and introduced many people to it so everyone benefits. Thanks again.
I would love to win the distiller and give it to my sister. She just turned 68 years old and she worries about how to keep her bones strong. Plus, she lives on a farm in a very old farm house that has very old copper pipes. I worry that her water is not as safe as it should be because she does not receive water from her local city but is instead on a well in her back yard that is next to the fields that have been receiving fertilizer for years. Supposely her water is safe to drink, but is it really? Her husband is presently receiving chemo for colon cancer. I truly belive that a distiller is what she needs to insure measurable bone and physical health for her and her family.
So friends, what do you think? Am I being too overly concerned or do I need to just go out and buy a distiller and deliver it to her as a late birthday gift?
I am glad their are still people is this world that really care about other people. So many that are selfish, greedy and go after ones own needs and do not think of others. Glad you guys take the time to help, educate, and give your time to help us bone people in need. Thank you. Thank you again “Save Our Bones Community”
I would love to have a water distiller. I have a water purification system but I don’t belive it takes out everything it is supposed to…..
I have been looking for a device as the water8800distiller for a long time.
I buy now distilled water from 180 km long distance. The price is 0.99 cents /gallon. not too but. But it costs me the fuel to go and come back at least 42 times more. So thank you Vivian for bringing this information to me. I love that product, its size and the convinience to use. I’m sure the quality of the water will be a lot better than the mass produced ones.
Thank you a million for gathering so such information to help us women take care of our bones, and live a healthy life. I would love to win distiller…My husband and I live in New York State where the water is not clean. Thank you again…
I bought a Brita filter system. It sort of works…it is better than my tap water, but the Brita water still has a slightly chemical flavor.
I would love to win a water distiller! I drink alot of filtered water, but it is not distilled. I would make great use out of it and use it for all my family’s water needs. Thanks so much for the offer! I
I have been drinking well water for 30 years now and always thought it was superior. Boy, was I wrong ! I very much appreciate the detailed information you have provided. It was an excellent education for me. Having one of the water distillation systems is definitely the way to go ! Winning one would be awesome!
I enjoy all the articles and helpful advice I get from your newsletter.Thankyou for all as I am learning a lot of new things to help my bones. The water distiller seems great. We have a well on our farm. All the best to you.
After 11 years of following my General Practishioner Doctor’s guidance (that’s right, Fosomax), I developed a compressed fracture of my spine, lost 2 inches in height, and realized my very good Dr. knew NOTHING about bones. On my computer I was introduced to your “Save Our Bones” program, which I highlighted for ease in studying; lent my precious book to my Dr. (for one week only!); and now, hopefully, all of his patients in our retirement community will have access to your good advice. Thank you! For the first time in my 83 years I feel I can recover my hurting bones!
