I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

I am so happy to finally have my questions about the best water to drink answered! We were very tempted to purchase the Kangan water system when we were in Palm Desert, but had our doubts about the wisdom of doing so – plus it is very expensive. Thank goodness we waited until we learned that distilled water is the best for us to drink!
Thank you, Vivian. I really appreciate having this information!

Water is extremely necessary for preserving one’s health. Unfortunately most water is contaminated with both natural and man made toxins. I wrote a book, Modern Nutrition Breakthrough Secrets in which a whole section is devoted to the need for pure water – and lots of it daily. Unfortunately the book never got off the ground. It needs quite a bit of updating before I put it back on the market as I have learned a lot from you and have discovered many additional natural breakthroughs that help restore and/or preserve one’s health.
It saddens me to see so many people dying of cancer when no one needs to die from this disease. We all have to someday leave this earth, but it doesn’t have to be from one of the top 5 killers in America.
Thank you for this wonderful offer, Vivian! Whoever the lucky winner is, I’m sure she’ll be one happy camper! 🙂 Thank you for all you do, Vivian! I’m so much more calm about my osteo diagnosis since finding your website!

Thank you so much for all the information you supply us with. I learn so much from it!
Thank you for all your great information!
We are on a journey in this life to learn and help our other travellers along the way and sometimes we meet an Angel who directs us to a higher plane.
The Save Our Bones Community have all be directed and helped by an Angel called Vivian.
Hi Vivian,I am fascinated by your information. My naturopath told me to start taking strontium for my severe osteoporosis. I thought oh this sounds great, but first I did my research on your website. I believe so much in your work that I felt more comfortable reading what your research would tell me about strontium. After reading what you had to say, I did not feel comfortable taking it. My naturopath is amazing, but go figure. I just feel so confident about your information. I am following the save our bones program. I am looking forward to having improved my bone mass at my next bone density test.
Thank you kindly
Mary
A couple days ago I came across information about drinking water. How to get pure water with a steam distill machine. I told my husband I would like to get one. So I will wait for the drawing. And we will find out who the lucky one is. Thanks for this opportunity.

Who would not cherish an electronic Waterwise distiller which can water the very gardens of Paradise?
To sip from it is to join the company of the ‘gods’ – [read Save Our Bones Community]
Allyour efforts on Save Our Bones are great! I trust your Water program. Thanks
Vivian, thank you for all your good work, you bring hope for everyone who are concerned about their bone health. Your information and advice are priceless.
Greetings,
Great series on water as is all of your information.
What are your recommendations for traveling such as on a cruise, regarding water. Is it beneficial to purchase a filter water bottle although I haven’t found any that can match the purity of distilled.
I have been on the program for about two years and I appreciate the difference the changes to my diet have made.
Thank you and regards,

Thank you, this is awesome. I real appreciate the information you have been sharing on water. It is such a valuable lesson to learn.

4 years ago I got diagnosed with osteopenia. I didn’t think much about it because I’m a small person and thought the dexa scan was less accurate on someone my size. I waited 3 years to have another dexa and when I did was told I lost 15% bone mass in my low back and hips, I had full on osteoporosis.
Since then I changed my diet, attitude about myself and the value of the work I do, I started exercising and conscious relaxation.
I love Vivian’s plan and found the email’s helpful.
I had another dexa scan mid summer and grew 18% bone density in my low back and 15% in my hips. In 1 year I turned around osteoporosis and only have a little osteopenia in my hips. I’m sure next year that will be gone too.
this sounds like s great package deal of products to take all the bad chemicals & etc out of the water. I drink smart water which is vapor distilled, plus i put 2or 3 drops of real lemon juice in a 12 ounce bottle of water, i don’t know for certain if thats enough lemon juice for that 12 ounce bottle of water or not, so this whole package deal would be nice to have

Drinking good water is a important regime for staying healthy.
Sounds like a better way to get distilled water than buying those gallon containers at the store.
Woah! I have been glued to my computer screen, eagerly awaiting each part of your waterwise discussion. I appreciate ALL of the information and advice. Thank you so much for pulling everything together. I know that it takes time because I’ve been reading about these issues off and on for maybe two years now. There are so many options, each with different pros and cons. I have been incredibly surprised to find out, for example, that Consumer Reports does not discuss whether any of the filters they review will filter out fluoride. A man who works for a company that sells reverse osmosis systems told me that the fluoride issue is an incredibly hot topic for retailers like him–mainly because there are plenty of people out there who still believe that having fluoride in the water is good for people! So, I certainly appreciate your understanding of these issues and the clarity with which you present them. You do this country proud. Many, many thanks!
Since I received your book I have been trying to keep up with everything. Even the exercise booklet. I do drink distilled water, since I try to follow as much as possible. Thank you Vivian
I am a retired RN. Had been taking Fosamax for 5 yrs., then Actonel for 7 years. My daughter steered me in the right direction by referring me to your article on the milk myth and to the Save Our Bones program. I am so grateful she did and have been impressed with all your good information! My most recent bone density was improved after being off Actonel for 18 months! The water distiller sounds really good! Thanks for the info!!
The Save Our Bones program enables me to manage osteoporosis without risking dangerous bisphosphonates. Thank you Vivian!
I am following the dietary recommendations from the Osteoporosis Reversal Program. In only 6 weeks I have lost 10 pounds, and my fingernails are noticably stronger. I’m working to be more consistent in doing the densercise. Thank you, Vivian, for sharing your well-grounded research and affirming my choice to reject the medical community’s common treatment for osteoporosis. I look forward to seeing positive results from my next bone density scan.
Hi Vivien,
thank you for your excellent advice i have received from you with regards to my Bone- and general Health. Since i took your advice and switched from just filtered water to distilled water, the stomachacidityproblem[overactivity] has greatly gone down during the assimilation of food – the acid does not popp up into my esaphagus so much any more.
I am 81 years old and live in San Diego County alone, my husband passed.
Since i do have one sometimes malfunction artificial knee – it became very difficult for me to haul the one gallon bottles with distilled water from the grocerystore. My S.S.income does not allow me to invest in a countertop Waterdistiller at the cost for over $500.00
Thank you so much, Vivien, for giving me the opportunity to win a Distiller.
God Bless you.
Gratefully yours,

I really have a problem drinking plain water. I have three filters in my house so I can’t taste the chlorine, but I still don’t think it taste good. I use Mio in my water so I have some flavor. I used to live in Montana where the water taste sooo good. Therefore, I do tend to get dehydrated easily.
My father and grandfather have the same problem. Could it be hereditary? I don’t think so, but all of us has struggled with drinking water. I used to be lucky if I drank 8 oz. in a week! I’m doing better than that now, but not even close at my goal!
Thanks for the information. Pure water is so important to the health of our bodies.
Your research proves you no more about diet, health, and bone nutrition than anyone on the planet, Also about common H2O, the source of life. Keep up the good work Vivian, you are slowly changing the way we think about health and Kudos to you by not settling for pat answers on why things were presented to you but dug up the facts and generated a following with your research!
I love distilled water – I feel so much better when I drink it. Since taking levaquin in 2006 I try to avoid flouride because of the way the antibiotic trashed my joints and tendons but I haven’t been able to afford a distiller for my home – I usually drink bottled water or filtered from work
Thank you for all of your articles. I am newly diagnosed with osteoporosis (and am also celiac with dairy intolerance). I look forward to changing my lifestyle and reversing bone loss.
Please draw my name for the water distiller and the bottle. Thanks for all the information on Fluoride problems.
Thanks a lot for the information on the dangers of Fluoride in the water. I would like to win this water distiller.
My family and I live in a hard water area which also adds floride, due to the high cavity cases in children living in and around this area. Fortunately, due to good diets my children are not one of the satistics. Waterwise sounds like a solution to enhance our lives.
When my children heard about Waterwise they had a play around with words and came up with the following.
Whatever the weather – be well and wise with Waterwise!
Vivian, I love reading your news – keep up the great work!
The Osteoporosis Reversal Program is very valuable. A Home water distiller is such a convenient way to provide yourself pure water.
The reason that I’d like too win is because I want my family too live a healthy life and I know it starts from within your self too manage this, with all the bad things they put into our water in this so called modern world, we have too take it on ourselves too do what we can! I have been reading alot of different sites on the good and the bad that we are forced too drink and I feel in my heart it starts right here!
Vivian, thank you for sharing the information about the distiller. Through reading the Save Our Bones programme I have realised how important drinking distilled water is for our bones. Thats the reason why it will be wonderful if I win the distiller.
Many thanks
Angela
I would like to win the water filter so I can stop carrying those heavy bottles of water home from the store, I have osteorosis and am not supposed to lift more then 1 lb. ( an almost impossible task)My husband died from colon cancer and I don’t want to have that happen to me
Drinking water straight from the tap is an awful thing to have to do. I know our city water smells like chlorine. We have a little filter on and it helps some but having really, really, really filtered water would be so wonderful.
I only drink distilled water now thanks to your recommendation. Would love to make my own.
The emails received from you are so informative and I have been learning so much more in the quest to remain healthy. I have even included my pet in on this information when it applies. I look forward to each time I see an email from you in my inbox. Keep me informed.
Learning all this information has made a big difference. Thank you!
I realy use a lot of your advice and feel lucky there is you helping me thanking you very much please keep up the great info and i will keep trying to get healthy Harold Holmes
Your information is in line with how I feel about health matters, especially our bones. I do not know at this time if I have osteoporosis, don’t want it either. But if I find out that is the case, I will be ahead with all your fine input on your site. Love the emails.
I love getting your e-mails. I read every single word. There is so much wonderful information.
Would love to win the water distiller. My mechanical engineer husband made the comment that drinking only distilled water would cost a fortune. We drink filtered tap water and buy distilled water to use for the car batteries and some household electric appliances. I drink a lot of water and could really use this.
ISN’T IT ODD THAT MOST MAJOR U. S. CITIES PROMOTE AND BOAST OF THE ADDITION OF FLUORIDE TO OUR DRINKING WATER. I ALWAYS LIKE TO READ THE LITTLE PAMPHLETS SENT BY THE WATER DEPT. DESCRIBING THEIR WATER-TREATMENT METHODS. FLUORIDE IS TOUTED AS A “BIG PLUS” FOR US CONSUMERS.
WE/I ARE LEFT TO OUR OWN DEVICES …. I FOR ONE AM READY TO MAKE THE CHANGE TO DISTILLED WATER. I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THE WATERWISE COUNTERTOP DISTILLER.
THANK HEAVEN FOR SOURCES OF SOUND HEALTH INFORMATION LIKE ‘SAVE OUR BONES’.
I need to have a safe method of purfyinh my water.
The better on to a healthier you
The better way to healthier bones and enjoying your life!
I have learned so much from all the information on this website and am doing everything possible to save my bones. I have been buying gallons of distilled water but it would be wonderful to have a distiller.
I have concerns about the amount of water in this world for human consumption but am just getting more educated about the quality of it. Why is it that flouride is added when we don’t need it, but the other bad stuff isn’t taken out?
I have been using distilled water for the past year, purchasing it by the gallon (since no company seems to provide it for home delivery. I am also following the Save Our Bones program, and I am excited to hear about the countertop distiller.
