I'm thrilled to announce that the ‘Win a Free Distiller Sweepstakes' starts today. In Part 1 and Part 2 of Water Week I've explained why drinking distilled water is the best choice both for your bones and for your overall health.
What I didn't tell you, is that at home, all the water I drink and cook with comes from my Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller. I've done the research, and it's by far the best distiller on the market.
I only have to fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and a few hours later, I have one gallon of the best tasting, purest, and fluoride-free water.
And today you have an opportunity to win the Waterwise 8800 Countertop Distiller, plus more great prizes… all valued at $510!
Here's How It Works
To enter, simply leave a comment below, along with your name and email. Feel free to write anything your heart desires :). Please leave your comment before Wednesday, September 12th, at 10:00pm ET.
My team and I will then randomly select one grand prize winner, and five runners-up. Stay tuned, because I will announce the winners on Thursday, September 13th. Best of luck!
- Grand Prize: One lucky winner will get the entire ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package', which normally sells for $510.
- Runners-Up: Five lucky winners will receive the Waterwise BPA-Free Sports Bottle.
I really love being in control of my water with the Waterwise distiller, and I'm sure you will too!

Here's What You Can Win: The ‘Save Our Bones Exclusive Waterwise Package'
Waterwise® 8800 Countertop Distiller
You’ll love using the 8800. All you do is fill the stainless steel boiler with tap water, press the start button, and soon you’ll be enjoying the purest water possible. With the easy-to-use electronic monitor, you can program it before bed for that first cup of coffee or tea in the morning. After running a one-gallon cycle, keep the BPA-free carafe in the refrigerator for a chilled glass of pure refreshment—whenever you want. Fill trays for perfectly clear and pure icecubes. Even take the 8800 along on your next trip. The portable, programmable 8800 is ready when you are!
The Waterwise 8800 combines steam distillation with carbon post-filtration, resulting in optimum water purity. The electronic monitor with its multifunction LCD readout even alerts you when it’s time to change the filter!
Sells for: $399
Deluxe Showerwise® Shower Filtration System
You’ll enjoy softer skin, healthier scalp and shinier hair after a Showerwise shower. Why? Because chlorine, commonly used to disinfect tap water, can make your skin dry, sensitive, flaky and itchy. It irritates your eyes and makes your hair dry and unmanageable. Worse yet, chlorine and chlorine by-products aggravate symptoms for many asthma, allergy, sinus and emphysema sufferers.
You may be shocked to know that your body can absorb more chlorine in a 1-minute shower than from drinking 8 glasses of the same water. But you can relax… chlorine is reduced by 95% with Showerwise. Also reduced is iron, lead, mercury and hydrogen sulfide. Bacterial, fungal and mildew growth are effectively inhibited.
Showerwise’s patented KDF-55 and Chlorgon filter material performs best in warm or hot water, unlike ordinary carbon filters that are effective in cold only. And Showerwise contains 50% more material for a longer, more effective lifetime than most filters, typically lasting 12-18 months!
Sells for: $69
6-Pack Carbon Filter Bags – 1 Year Supply
Carbon filtration enhances taste and purity by adsorption, aeration and degasification. Replace every 2-months or after 60-80 gallons distilled, whichever comes first. One bag drops into the filter compartment of the carafe lid.
Sells for: $36
Waterwise® BPA-Free Sports Bottle
Waterwise BPA-Free bottles are lightweight, reuseable and ensure that every drop of distilled water stays pure. They’re extremely durable and simple to clean (just use peroxide and water or baking soda and water, then rinse).
Sells for: $6

Hi Vivian, Thank you so much for giving all this great information, it has been approximately 3 years when I went searching for an answer about my bones. After taking Fosamax for approximately 1 year, the Rheumatolgist decided and after seeing my dentist that I was losing the bone in my jaw, they took me off of Fosamax and then wanted me to take the med where you give yourself an injection each day, I said no to this and went looking for the answer on the internet that is when I found you and your book. I am doing great now thanks to you. I eat right, take my vitamins, use the treadmill and stationary bike everyday while watching the positive on the TV with my precious dog Johnnie who also eats right drinks purified water and is 14 years old & still active. Thank you again Vivian, you are appreciated & now I am going to improve on my water intake. Nona
Oh boy! Could I ever be so lucky?
I enjoy reading all of your articles and thank you. I have shared your site with others. Water – now that is something I never liked – work real hard on drinking it – wow a chance to win the distiller – and a shower head – I battle with itchy scalp and I mean battle. Thanks for all your research and sharing it with all of us in hopes of SAVING OUR BONES the RIGHT WAY!
Hi Vivian..
Im frpm Canada.I have osteoarhiritis.Iwould love to try this water,to see if it helps me with this condition..I really enjoy your book,a lot of good information,.Keep up the good work you do..
Have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, and have very brittle bones. Recently had a knee replacement after having two hip replacements. Looking for positive things I can do to become healthier
Thanks for all the info on the email, (I need it only on one, but see I get on 2 email accunts)much of the info. is affirming and reminds one of these lifestyle factors and interesting new data. as for water distillation I still using my old ‘polar bear’ and filters, a contant challenge.
Water is essential for life.
Why should we ingest harmful chemicals into our bodies every time we are drinking water to sustain life?
I hate to see people paying a lot for bottled water and then carrying plastic bottles around with water getting warm because people hold bottles in their hands and exposing them to the sun… This kind of water certainly tastes bad…
I have osteopenia in my spine and hips. I have started exercising and take calcium from algae. I believe that exercising and following the Save Our Bones program that the osteopenia can be reversed.
Thanks so much for supplying this pertinent material! I’m really interested in the Deluxe Showerwise Shower Filtration System!!
I have osteopenia and a family history of osteoporosis and have found the information you provide very helpful.
I have been researching water filtration and this unit sounds fantastic! Thanks for all the info and optimism!
Dear Vivian,
Thank you for helping me to see that there is something I can do for my osteoperosis without taking drugs.
I’d LOVE to win your water distiller! Love your emails with their informative messages! Lots of good information.
In case I did not win the 8800 water distiller, where can I order it? I wish I will be one of the winner, because I need it so bad. I just get diagnose of Osteopenian, I don’t want it to turn into osteoporosis or something major in that sort. Thank you again for you assistance in that matter.
This sounds what I have been looking for. Have looked and looked and none of the filtering systems seem to really do a good job.
This sounds what I have been looking for. Have looked and looked and none of the filtering systems seem to really do a good job.
I love drinking good water – just so hard to find in today’s world. I know well how bottled water is not the answer. I use Brita, but it is far from the answer. Especially since I live in an area in New Jersey that is known for its “bad” water. Fortunately for me, I use Young Living Essential oils and ad lemon to my water. That I can drink and get protection for my health at the same time. I’ve been looking for the right filter to handle all the junk we are exposed to in the water we must drink – seems strange that what we must have we need to worry so much about.
I’m very happy to finally get your message about the distiller you use. I’d love to be a winner, but at least I now have the right answer to this problem we are forced to contend with until we get some “green” action.
Thanks for all you do!
I want to control my water intake…
Joe
Thanks to your advice in your Save Our Bones book, my recent dexa scan went from osteoporosis back to osteopenia, and I hope to continue to rebuild some of the bone that I’d suddently lost after stopping the hormone replacement drugs.
Thank you so much for all the help you offer to usfolks in need!
Thanks for the “wise” choice.
Would love to have this distiller. Lots better than buying plastic jugs of distilled water.
Thank you for you information, it is an eye opener. I learned a lot from you book and from email information. I am planning to share everything I learn about drinking water with my family and my friends. Continue to send them. I really, really enjoy reading them.
All I drink is water and would love to have the best water I can get by winning! Thanks for this chance.
It is so reassuring to have a go-to place for information on osteoporosis and general good health. Thanks for all you’ve given and thanks for the chance to win a distiller!
Dear Vivian,
I always read with much interest your information, you are doing a very serious work about health, respect, and care for life.
I’m sure thousands of people thank you of heart.
Best for you
Olga Fernández
A friend has one of these and swears by it! Sorry, but until I read your articles on distilled water, I sort of scoffed at the idea of distilled water! Not anymore; I’ll be putting one of these on my counter soon! Thanks for the info.
I ordered the save our bones program a few months ago. I was on fosomax for 3 yrs but discontinued that and am trying to eat as your book recommends. I love all your articles especially the one on water as we have our own well. Keep up the good work Vivian

I have been a big water drinker since my 20’s. Now in my 60’s I can appreciate the total benefits of drinking water.
You provide a wonderful humanitarian service and I recommend to all that I see. Had a water distiller which was wonderful but lost in homefire.
I recognize the lies & fraud of big pharma after 42 years in RN nursing and would like to coalesce all the natural forces to counter their lies.
Love you weekly news, keep them coming
I encourage my daughters to save their bones by not drinking sodas or smoking. They exercise as I do. Of course at 78 I had in the past lost 1/2″ but I hope to not lose anymore. Drinking distilled water may help me a lot!
Wow how I am pleased to learn so much from your emails
Aline
I read your newsletters and have learned a lot from them. Thanks for sharing it with us.
I really appreciate the good information from you on drinking water. I had been buying Deer Park spring water thinking it was probably the best water to buy. Now I know I have an even better choice. Your earlier information has convinced me fully that I don’t need to be drinking water with floride. Thanks again for all the good information on saving our bones.
Love the wealth of information I read from Vivian. Thank you for your research!!!!!
Thank you for beng the voice of the truth. Through your research, we are learning more about prescription drugs that harm rather than cure. I’ve stopped taking Fosamax.
At 48 was diagnosed with osteoporosis. 🙁 The doctors told me to get on biphosonates right away and that if I didn’t ?!? After reading and researching and asking them to determine the reason why I had it so early in my life they just shrugged their shoulder and said “heredity”. Well after taking this problem into my own hands my blood work indicated that I was extremely deficient in Vitamin D, and now I am looking into celiac, as there is a family history. I purchased the Save our Bones program and have found it helpful and supportive of my desire to heal myself. I live in an area that the public water system in hard well water and there is so much chlorine in it that the full bathtub water looks like a swimming pool. Having my own distiller would be fabulous–and showering with filtered water would be heavenly. I hope to be selected as it would be a boost for reclaiming my health!
Love your weekly articles, Vivian. Keep them coming!
love your site
So I’m drinking wellwater highly mineralized water, if this hasn’t done my bones anygood, how’s distilled water with nothing in it going to help maintain them? Scientists all say not to drink distilled water? What’s a bone to believe..bones have so may bumps against them.
I didn’t kmow the body absorbed chlorine thru the shower. I’ve been taking showers for quite a lot of years, and would not have known.
Thanks,
John
Water is so important, and this system seems so perfect.
I would be thrilled to win this wonderful system.
Thank you for your work in educating the public on all these issues,
particularly bone health.
Thanks for sharing the health benefits of distilled water.
I love your web-site as it gives me the best health information and reasonable prices on products.Keep up the good work,
God’s Blessings and SHALOM!

I just started the Save Our Bones program last week and have enjoyed reading the wealth of information that you provide. Thank you for focusing on water quality this week. My husband and I are searching for a water purification system and your recent articles have been extremely helpful!
I’ve been receiving Save Our Bones letters for a couple of years and use the book. I’m so grateful for the information passed along – I’ve sent it to others with particular health needs. I began SOB after my specialist insisted I had osteoporosis which could only worsen and “I wouldn’t want to be stooped over and half my height”.
With good information and the knowledge that my bones are getting stronger, not weaker, and some good tips to use when I see the doc I have confidence in my bone health.
We’ve recently sustained a landslide disaster in our rural community and my water is in need of filtration for sediment and distillation for heavy metals, uranium in particular, so this is a timely offer and I hope I win! I’m in need of some good news because the disaster has brought too much stress and anger into my life.
Thanks everyone, for reading this.
I have been on the program for one and a half years and I have never felt better. Thank you for all the information you send us.
Vivian,
I live in a retirement community in Florida, where I belong to an “Osteoporosis Club,” approximately 100 members. Your website is one we reference regularly, since our members are advocates of natural ways to remedy aging bone. We wish to thank you for all you share. Many have followed your recommendations, and we are grateful you are willing to step out of medicine’s mainstream box to assist us. We appreciate your efforts in putting this information out. It is helpful to so many.
All the best,
Gloria Quigley
i,m glad that i,m recviceing news letter each day. i,m learning something new from your work.. now i like the water distiller =maybe i can win= thank you vivien
