I see my doctor regularly. He has tried to put me on medication for high blood pressure. I refused and said, “I’ll do it myself.” And I did. He tried to put me on Lipitor to reduce high cholesterol. I learned mre from Vivian about purifying water than I did in my water treatment operator classes! TO learn that the majority of ingredients are not filtered out of the water as it is treated and returned to your home as tap water was astounding to me. Also, that the chemicals, drugs (even chemotherapy drugs, antibiotics and steroids) as well as hormones are not removed from the water-made me want to clean up my families drinking water. The need to provide clean organic food is understood but along with that is the need to have clean purified water. I thank Vivian for the powerful information she distributes through her Save Your Bones newsletter.

I am a user of Fosamax for 3 yrs and i stopped taking it. I only hope it will not have a bad effect onto my health. We have a tap distiller but I don’t think it’s a patch on yours
it was great to know that alkaline water is not the key step to alkaline the body(as i used to think). On the contrary it has wrong effects on digestion. But tell me lemon water (two or three drops of lemon in a glass of water)after 1/2 an hour of meal is good for digestion ?????????????

I grew up in Australia. Even back in the 70s my parents knew how important it was to filter the water we drank. I’d love to have the distiller and be able to do this again.

I appreciate your articles on drinking distilled water and have been reading as much as I can find about it since you began this series. My husband and I have switched from filtered and spring water to distilled. My only question is about the absence of important minerals (electrolytes). Do you supplement your distilled water somehow (like “Smart Water”) or do you provide these through the foods you eat?
I currently use a reverse osmosis filter for myself and my cats.
I have met people who believed their pets had gotten sick from drinking tap water. I love the taste of clear, pure water. It feels soft, like
a cup of velvet! I look forward to the day when chemicals are no longer added or dumped into main water supply’s.
I have enjoyed all the info given us in WaterWeek. I know very well that drinking plenty of water is good for health. However, I don’t have a distiller so I would very much like to win this!
Incidentally I have been following the Save our Bones diet for two and half years now. I am 85 and have found that the diet is good for my all round health!

Vivian, I have so much enjoyed your e-mails to me about so many things. I have fibromyalgia and have gotten many good information from you. Since I am now on a dairy free diet and need to drink more water, I have been looking for a distiller for a while now and am so glad you gave me this information. I have been so concerned about the water we drink as even the filtered refrigerator water has a horrible taste. I have an old reverse osmosis unit but it needs replaced, too, and the filters cost so much. Plus I never know when to change them. Winning this countertop Waterwise distiller would be wonderful. I drink a lot of water. We have a town well. The water we drink is not always clean. We have a filter on our water but the water still does not taste good.
It is safe to drink according to the authorities.
