I read the Save Our Bones book and started following the program about 2 yrs. ago. I really appreciate the easy to follow guides and tips to healthier bones. I was diagnosed with Osteoporosis 2 yrs. ago. I am off of the Actonel and following the plan. I feel soooo much better!

I have been on your program since I had a leg fractor from osteoporosis a little over a year ago. We buy bottled water and I drink a lot of it. I have been plagued over the years with several illnesses,which has results in fibromyalgia, a total hysterectomy as well allergies etc. I am now presently in 2012 aged 57.
The reason I share this above mentioned is to make a point.
Due to my illnesses i have gone to and had many a medical appointments and started off thinking that Doctors had all the answers.. However being the person I am, i sometimes questioned their suggestions or answers to my problems prescriptions for everything.. To make this short and to the point.. I find you refreshing in your approach to keeping our body alkalized and in a healthy balanced state which I have learned is the key along with fitness to a healthy life.
We cannot ignore our individual gene pool and the problems that we may face as a result, but we certainly have a chance to educate ourselves the best way we can, to achieve optimal health and hopefully erase or minimize our chances of following our families of past.

Based from our experiments, done in the laboratory of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology, Cabanatuan City, Philippines, for testing the electrolytes of tap water comparing with distilled water, using conductivity apparatus, we conclude that tap water has a strong electrolytes, the bulb in the conductivity apparatus lighten, while distilled water is a non-electrolyte, the bulb did not lighted. Meaning distilled water do not contains metal that will harmed to our bone.
We are very thankful to Ms. Vivian for establishing this equipment which is very handy that can be use in our daily life.

We live in a world where the next major war may well be over water, so scarce is it in so many parts of the world (and in many areas of our own country). Yet most Americans do not even have a clue about just how bad things are with the contents of most of our water supplies.
Most will continue to waste their money buying bottled water, oblivious to the estimates that about 70% of it is simply recycled tap water and largely has a much higher concentration of bad bacteria.
Many will blindly vote against their own best interests (including the very health of their families) by supporting candidates overly beholden to corporate interests who want to eliminate the EPA and look the other way when toxic polluters do their thing..even when cancer clusters prove themselves via the weird diseases and deaths of innocent children.
Never forget how Bush had no time for science and stripped the EPA of much of its power to the extent of defunding 89 Superfund sites in 2002 alone. His ‘compassionate conservatism’ only had compassion for the Monsantos, Dows and Union Carbides out there. One need only remain shocked and amazed over his allowance of increased amounts of Arsenic by these criminals into our water supplies. Arsenic! On ‘Alfred Hitchcock Presents’, the villains often slowly dosed their victims with that brutal poison over a period of time, exacting a cruel and painful death. George Bush and his cohorts, both corporate and political, kept their hands off the bottle, but are no less guilty of causing death and disease. Hitchcock’s killers were punished with jail and execution. Bush and corporately-owned politicians like him, on the other hand, are rewarded by the clueless with the Oval Office and seats in Congress.
Now we have candidates calling for the exact same things: the weakening and eventual elimination of the EPA and the reversal of regulations that already do not go far enough in protecting our health from the toxic soup in our water, air and land that corporations have been allowed to brew. Government has a role in protecting us in areas of our lives and this is one of the major ones. Yet too many people will fall for the phony rhetoric and not do the simple research that shows the corporate whores who are pulling the strings of candidates espousing such blatant and evil proposals.
The citizenry must awaken from its slumber and quit being suckered. It is only the right wing which openly has waged war on environmentalism and, thus, our topic here – Water. There is only one option here: Anyone who truly cares for their children cannot support the right wing until it officially changes its stance on environmental issues. And none of this ‘voluntary self-policing’ by corporations jazz that the right always falls back on. Every major study and non-partisan analysis shows that it has never, ever worked and it never will. No law mandates that the activities of corporations must have any degree of social responsibility. The exact opposite is the law: Profits are the only rule, a total disgrace to the concept of law and civic responsibility in our country.

I’m an 80 year old widower. Many years ago I decided that I did NOT want the fluoride the whole country was in love with (who wants to drink an industrial waste product that used to cost Reynolds aluminum millions of dollars to dispose of untill they sold the government on doseing our drinking water supplies with it?)
To that end I moved to Springfield, Or. ( where they don’t poison our water) in 1977. Even so there are natural contaminants to deal with so I have used a Britta filter system for years, however it’s not %100!

Thanks for everything you do. I felt so alone and afraid when suddenly diagnosed at age 63 with osteoporosis, (as a result of paratyhroid overactivity which came to light during a routine blood test) not least of which was the fear of the terrible drugs being prescribed to me -which i never took after one look at the internet!. Very difficult because my osteo consultant thinks I should take them and I am having to ignore his advice.
