Been using a Waterwise distiller for the last 5 or 6 years–My main concern was the natural gas and perscriptions and other junk leaking into our water system. The water is so much “smoother” to drink and we drink more because of that.
I have been using a Brita for years for my drinking water, would love to replace it with this unit.
We installed a whole-house water filter recommended by Dr. Mercola to remove chlorine and other contaminents. Then we removed our shower filters and gave those to our daughters. Now I need the fluoride removed from our kitchen water…Would love to win the water distiller!

Thank you so much for all the valubal information you gave. it was so helpful. I use to drink more water , but not as 8 cups /day because I use to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Not distilled water ( the apparatus needs cleaning every week and changing every six month , it costs a lot) so adding some drops of lemon juice to the tap water is enough, I think as an ordinary Egyptian this is very good.

What a treat it would be to not have to lug home those gallon bottles of filtered water from the store. Had a water purifier once, really need one again.
Dislike using water with added fluoride, so I buy water at Walmart (reverse osmosis from Culigan machine)…much cheaper at 37 cents a gallon versus 99 cents or more for brand names. Would me much nicer to have my own home counter system.
As we are recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day, I
think it would be wonderful to know that with the distiller we would be drinking the best tasting and purest water we can get.

Hi Vivian, Thank you for all your advice you have been sharing with each and everyone of us. I am a 59yr old female with a lot of medical problems. I have neuro-fibro-matosis, charcot-marie-tooth disease, osteoporosis and osteopenia also carpal tunnel, I had three surgeries so far and still have to undergo a few more. He scared the hell out me by telling me that I should start on the medicines immediately if I didn’t want to break a hip bone. Boy was I scared. I’ve always wondered about the water I drink. We have such hard water in our area that I have to use a scratch pad to remove the lime from my glasses if I leave water sit too long in them. I had a water distiller in my last house, but when we sold it the buyers wanted it included in the sale! I like the model you show on your website. It appears to be easier to use and clean than the one I had.
I would love to win a Waterwise distiller. I have well water that I have had tested, but still not quite trust. I use a Pur pitcher water filter now.

Love you Vivian and all the information you give for us to have healthy bones. I read an article of yours on distilled water and started buying it as the better choice. I have severe osteoporousis and COPD so this was a good choice for me. However, the gallon jugs just got to cumbersome for me to carry in and a quite expensive medicine for the COPD made it impossible to continue buying the water . I had the Save Our Bones book but I have misplaced it. I still try to eat healthy – 80-20. Would love to win this distiller and hoping I do but wish the best of luck to all participants. I like this counter top distiller. When I move to other house, I can bring it with me not like under counter system. But I am not sure whether my disease resistance will be down because of drinking distilled water for long time. Can I get answer to this question?
