Hi Vivian..Thank you for the opportunity to enter this competition, for as much as I would like to, I cannot afford to buy the water filter myself. We dont have anything near that here in South Africa,and our water is now bad as even raw sewerage is being pumped into our rivers and dams when the plants break down. Fluoride is insidious chemical. I want the rat poison out of my water supply. I knew t. he carbon filtration would not remove fluoride. I am pleased to see that with the water wise 8800 I can now get rid of fluoride easily and inexpensively.
I use Aqua Optima water filter everyday for tea,coffee & also for cooking,& so far it gives us no upset stomach. After reading about this new water filter, it makes me think this must be ultimate water filter to all water filters.It is truly amazing that there is a filter that takes out so much pollutants & gives you purer water for your optimal health. Attempts to clear Fosomax induced misery (joint pain and near paralysis) through detoxification with raw foods would be greatly enhanced by using purified water. So far I have not found a water purifier which will not take too much space on a small kitchen counter.

How does it get any better than this?
Unfortunately I am from Australia and most probably not eligible for the prize.
Anyway, I have really enjoyed reading your articles. It is funny isn’t it that distilled and reverse osmosis waters are mainly free from elements. As I understand it, the water thus become a strong universal solvent in which case it will tend to absorb any elements it comes across on the way through the body.
My main question is, how does it recognized the “bad” from the “good” elements? Does this also mean that alkaline water which has been written a lot about is bad for us?

Its the basis of health…. you feel taller in the morning if you have had enough of it to plump your spine discs; every part of you loves it and NEEDS it; you die quickly WITHOUT it and quickly WITH it if it isn’t the RIGHT quality for your body and it adds so much pleasure to our lives when it is pure and clean to both drink and play and clean with……….it’s water……pure and natural with limitless purpose and value!!

Have used the Brita filter and even have a traveling one that I take every place with me. Interested in this system because it seems to be more efficient and don’t have to worry about when the filter needs changing since you get a year’s supply.

Hello, I was recently diagnosed with osteoporosis….it actually took me by surprise as I have always tried to live a healthy lifestyle. I read the articles here with much interest… and I try and implement and incorporate everything that is helpful here. I so appreciate having found this site…because it gives me a sense of control over this situation.I have been drinking distilled water since I read about all of its great benefits. I’ve been a follower of yours for awhile and love all the information that you pass on to us. My bone density has improves and so has my diet. I use a water filter but I’m sure it’s not doing the job of the Waterwise8800 and I’d love to use the showerhead too. The whole package sounds great.

living in the country we buy a lot of drinking water as well as for cooking purposes, even giving our dogs bottled water to try and help them as well. Water supplies are so toxic that we don’t want to expose ourselves or our dear pets.

Dear Vivian, I’ve read all four parts of your articles on H2O – I live in Malaysia. For your information I’ve been drinking purified water using Seagull General Ecology purifier since 1980. What I need to do is simply change the prefilter when it got clogged and the main filter when it’s time to change. I wonder what you think of this brand of purifier. Purified water tastes so much better than RO and mineral water. Tap water is only for washing clothes. Anyone using this purifier is welcome to discuss. The bottom line is water is important for health. Your articles should be read by everyone. Thanks Vivian.
Since my daughter bought me a copy of Vivianne’s book I’ve learned a great deal about my osteoporosis, which was not diagnosed until I had enjoyed half a dozen wedge compression fractures and lost six inches in height – the assumption by me – and my doctor – was the damage resulted from my weightlifting hobby and not osteoporosis. That was more than three years ago, and while i still get careless and crack a rib now and again, I have enjoyed not spinal incident for nearly two years, and can only put that good fortune down to my following her dietary and supplement advices. A water distiller would really complete the measures I’m taking to minimise further risk – at 75 I can afford no more problems added to those age brings naturally 🙂
When my late husband was diagnosed with Parkinsons, his doctor recommended
using filtered or distilled water in addition to organic foods, and
special medication. We used a small, cartridge-like filter -no longer available! The chart in today’s edition shows the superior cleansing action of the distillation process. I feel this an answer to prayer for folks

The tips in the emails just keep getting better, and I thought I know most of that stuff. I followed some of the stuff in the book. Everyone should have access to clean water.
My only concern about this water distiller is that since it takes all the minerals out of the water, what does it leave the water tasting like? If the water still tastes good then this is definitely a great product that everyone should own.

Portland, OR City Council is voting tomorrow on flouridating the city’s water supply. For years, they have added 5 parts chlorine and 1 part ammonia to the fresh water flowing flowing from Mount Hood into the Bull Run Reservoir. (Found out in the late 1990s that those are the components of mustard gas that residents have been taking showers in. And now, because the rest of the nation thinks flouride fortifies their children’s teeth, that Portland should add that also. Beaverton has in the last several years gotten on the flouride band wagon. Physicians who buy everything the pharma salesmen tells them have also bought into the flouride line. Well, not all of them. Some have actually investigated for themselves. But it looks like Portland will also need these personal water filters. And as environmentally conscious as Portland wanted the rest of the nation to believe that it is, PCBs and sewerage have for years flowed down the Willamette River and into the valleys below. Lake Oswego, however, has purchased an ozone generator for its man-made lake…
Would I have to clean the mineral buildup after each use for optimum performance? My tap water is upon the hard side and the city puts tons of chorine and flouride in it. I use a shower filter, RO, PuR on the kitchen faucet to help me try to use clean, healthy water.
I remember as a kid drinking the water from the hose. How good it was. Wouldn’t want anyone to do that now.

I started drinking water in earnest when I was pregnant, and now it is a part of my life. I have a filter for my faucet that gets out the bad tasting things, but I always wonder what else is in there that is still floating around after going through the filter. Distilled is the most pure form and the best for us.

I’ve read a lot of good things about drinking “Alkaline Water”…and i even use Alkaline drops to alkalinize my drinks ( water , fruit juice, coffee and even beer sometimes ) BUT why you are saying that Distilled water is best for drinking ? Isn’t it that distilled water is “Dead” water ? That it only satisfy your thirst but not the whole being of you ?
