Having an arthritic history on my mothers side ,which has now caught up with me,I am interested in all things natural to try and arrest the problem ,without resorting to a hip replacement.
Apart from the ideas which Vivian Expounds ,the question of water quality is one which has always confused me .The distilled water is in the oppinion of some dead water with others saying,water needs minerals.
As I have been adding sea minerals to my filtered tank water,and could probably do better to add it to distilled ,the waterwise 8800 may well be the best option.

I have often wondered about my well water, since there are no “additives” except salt by the softener. I also have a conditioner that is considered reverse osmosis. I feel luckier than some as I have never been connected to city water. I am interested in learning more about “hexagonal” water, electrolytes, and the significance of minerals in the water that provide the electric charge allowing the water to conduct electricity. How do I go about testing my water to find out what is in it besides the simple country water test to uncover e.coli. Keep up the good work, Vivian!

Not only are all of the contaminants listed really bad for us and contribute greatly to the level of diseases we have but also all of the water now contains drug residues from everyone. Imagine what that’s like to have all of these drugs we don’t take in our system from our water! And what a setup that is for children! The plastic bottle aspect is also an important one – I live in Asia and plastic is contaminating everything and you can neither get away from it or dispose of it properly because it lasts so long. Also, when you even try to use plastic sparingly it presents its own health aspects like when refilling small plastic bottles with water from larger ones where additional bacteria starts growing and adding its own contamination. After this and so much more, adding electrolytes to CLEAN water doesn’t seem so much and if you don’t pay for the electricity for this, you pay for bottled water which you don’t know what it contains. Small price to pay to be responsible for your health.
I have used a Pur filtered pitcher for years. Once in a while I purchase distilled water because its the best to drink. I would love to drink the best water I could. This could happed with the 8800 distiller. Thank you for the valuable information.
I have been doing as much research as possible to help my son with his health problems. He used to be a vibrant, athletic child until his appendix burst. From then on, his health continued to decline as we put all our hope in the doctors who kept convincing us that he needed certain drugs. Hindsight, we have learned that all these drugs did was bring his energy to a hault. Now making all homemade, organic meals, bonebroths, homemade soaps, etc. trying desperately to get all the toxins out of him for the past few years. We are seeing slow progress but at least progress. We have well water which is very hard and use a water softener. I have been trying every angle to help him and have been recently doing research on water distillers as I know this would help but didn’t know which ones were good. As a person who once worked as a storeman for a local water supply depsrtment, I am aware of the digusting chemicals that are actualy put into our water. I have bought filtered water now for more than ten (10)years, but as an aged pensioner I now find it hard to keep paying.But I WILL

Thank you for always helping us. I have been thinking about getting one and now I have the opportunity. It sounds like a very good way to drink pure water and save money.
I was always told that Disstilled water was not good for you, because it would leage out the minerals from your bones. From what I read here, this isn’t true, and I have learned something new. Making sure I have clean water without any florides or other junk is important to me. Thanks for the education. I needed it.

This water system sounds great and I wish I could afford to buy it. I have serious allergies to fragrances/chemicals and my skin is permanently sore and I have a swollen tongue most of the time. Only through Vivien’s on line information have I started to realise that water is a serious problem for me and one which none of the professions I have seen have ever mentioned. Because of the worsening of my allergies I have had to be medically retired, so I am now unable to earn sufficient money to pay for the equipment which would make a real diffidence to the quantity of my life

Want to thank you for your website, I was suffering with depression, lacked energy had foggy thinking. Felt l had aged overnight. l read your email on water and dehydration. l did the skin pull test. I have never tried a water filtration system for the water we drink in our home. We have a well-and alot of rust is in our water, we do have a water softner to try and remove this mineral. I love your advice about using distilled water. I use well water and when I go on trips I buy distilled water whenever I can. Our well water is hard water. I seem to retain iron in my blood and I suspect the well water may be part of this problem. Maybe getting a distiller for my kitchen would be in order.

I hate to think what the health of our children’s children will be like with all the impurities now contained in water. We really all should have a Water Wise 8800 Distiller, but unfortunately many people are unaware of the powerful benefits of a distiller or of the damage being caused to our health by water impurities.
Nothing can beat a chilled waterwise distilled glas of water, may be add a dash of fresh pressed lemon juice to it
