I have been drinking Real Water for over 3 yrs. When I was laid off I had to resolve to drinking spring water. After reading your article about distilled water, I was excited because I was able to purchase more bottles of water (much cheaper). Since I do have diabetes I’m very careful about what foods and liquids I drink. This machine would be a God sent for me.

I know distilled water is the purest form possible. Yet a friend of mine working in an engineering company said that carrying distilled water through pipes brings about considerable more corrosion than ordinary water. The distilled water eats at the pipes !
As a biochemist, I am quite weary of using distilled water on a regular basis. There could be mineral leaching from the body.
I would suggest re mineralizing distilled water with an equivalent amount of electrolytes that are present in spring water. Perhaps with some vegetable juice, the amount being calculated using NIH’s food list analysis (https://ndb.nal.usda.gov/ndb/foods/list)

Water is been my concern for a long while, as I had moved back to southern Ontario where the water is hard, as in filled with dissolved rock, limestone. I have bought a water softener and a reverse-osmosis under-the-sink unit. My water softener needs replacing, and I would love to have the counter-top water unit, as I am only renting the osmosis unit. Thanks for this opportunity.

Vivian there is one theme that it is unknown. Water! Hard water causes heart ailments and litiasis. But as you have wrote, also osteoporosis. Authorities in every country mess with water. They seem that the importance of healthy water is menial. The paradox is that this people may be the target of their
ignorance. But the alopathy may say that it is not the cause, but just a sympton of many other variables.Your report of water has to be studied carefully. There is information that bio-chemists don´t see. Or maybe they do and create myths about ailments so they can sell their products. Hardness of the water is quite a problem in cities and towns that are in a plateau. Sometimes sulphur is the principal component of water. But to reverse this so the water can again have the properties of a spring mountain is very expensive. Then the real reason to have a good health is a water that must not be hard and almost distilled. Although the minerals in the water are necessary for the body. In this modern age, the problem is contamination. We can´t fight the contamination on rivers, lakes, seas and freatic mantles. But we can fix this for ourselves with the right information. I have been buying bottled distilled water for several months. I am concerned with the purity and the safe use of plastic bottles. I would not only like purer water for myself but for my grandchildren.
This would be such a blessing for me! My husband and I are moving from the Chicago area to a new house in South Carolina as my husband has recently retired. We’ve had a reverse osmosis system at our last two houses. I feel so good about drinking this clean water. My husband however is concerned about this additional expense now because this is a huge move for us and has gotten so very expensive. I’ve been looking for other water cleansing methods and this one looks perfect for us! I have a brain tumor and have had very invasive surgery followed by 6 weeks of daily radiation treatments.
