Even though I have my own well and the water is good here in the Ozark woods I always feel better when I drink distilled water. Having my own distiller would be wonderful because I only shop a few times a month and have to buy all my water then–IF I can find any.

I am 62 years old and I have osteoporosis. I’ve been following your program for the last few years now since my health is my number one concern.
I have been using distilled water from the grocery store but not in a BPA-free container….they are hard to find. I have back problems so lugging these jugs home is a challenge. I love the taste of pure distilled water! Especially now that I know how much better it is for my bones . I was prescribed osteoporosis meds which made me sick and to me, if you take something that makes you ill then your body doesn’t want it. I haven’t taken those meds for quite some time now but I will continue to use distilled water. It tastes clean and fresh like water should taste!
On July 17, 2011, I was told I had osteoporosis from my doctor. He wanted me to select from 3 osteoporsis pills for the cure. I declined and asked that he give me an opportunity to research this first. He agreed. By Aug 3, 2011 I found the SAVEOURBONES group through a search on the internet. I purchased the book immediately, becasue I was desperate to find a natural way to reverse this condition. After reading the book 10 times to get the information in my mind and spirit, I went down on the ground running. My journey started–I began eating Alkaline vs Acid (which I had never heard of before). I had never drank 1 gallon of water a day (I loved my Pepsi). This was a drastic change for me (drinking 1/2 of my body weight in ounces which was 150 ounces a day). Once I found out that soda was not good for my bones, I stopped immediately. I made all the adjustments (no meat, except Wild Alaskan Salmon twice a week, incorporated 5 fruits, 5 vegetables, some gains, some protein and some carbohydrates, exercise,rest and prayer). What a change for to good. On 7 Sep 2012 my results were awesome. My doctor stated that I had a blood test result of a 14 year old and by bone density increased from -2.05 to
-1.8. I was so thrilled at this news. The journey started out challenging but I remeber what Mrs. Goldsmith said “If you accept the acid, You accept the pain”. I didn’t want to feel that pain again. This journey is a Life Style Change forever. I will never go back to the old way of eating. Actually, I enjoy my food better knowing that it’s not hurting my body. OH! My weight has been set at 145 since January 2012, it’s Sep 2012 and it has not wavered. The thought of not having to go on a diet is awesome. I love my new changed and had gotten my young adults to modify their diets too. Excited!!!!!!
Oh, forgot to say that I am 63 years old. How exciting to hear the doctor say I had a blood test of a 14 year old.

My neighbor has a water distiller and you can really taste the difference. The water tasted so pure. We had an expensive R/O system installed but have now had it removed because it even took out the much needed minerals, besides the bad ones. Right now, we’re using a filter attached to the faucet. I started buying distilled water after reading reports from Vivian. I want to save my bones and with her help i am hoping to do just that.
Since I spend 5 months in India each year with little bone – enhancing supplements, I know a H2o distiller would really help strengthen my bones which have osteoporosis.
I did the daily Forsteo (Forteo) injections for 18 months. Then went on to Bonviva (Boniva) for five years. I’ve now been on Vivian’s regimen for 18 months.
According to my latest DEXA scan results, my bone density has increased far more in those 18 months than during six and a half years of dangerous drugs.
And I’ve never felt better.

It is very hard to find pure distilled water and still at the same time feel confident in what I am drinking. How do I know for certain the plastic container hasn’t been sitting out in the heat at some warehouse etc. and here I am purchasing it to drink for health. I never feel good about the quality of water I drink each day;-( and I drink at least half my body weight in ounces.

I want to thank you for all the factual advice that you give in your articles. I really learned a lot from the water weeks 1&2. I grew up on well water and as an adult (50+) I normally drink bottled water (feeling it better than well or city) My metabolism feels as tho it has come to a screeching hault. Buying bottled water makes me feel better about drinking water but what I learn in your articles is priceless. I always feel awful about the amount of waste involved with bottled water as well and we never know if these are pure either. To hydrate my body properly will make all body parts function at their peak is something I knew but it never sank in until the details of your water week articles.
