In today’s Save Our Bones Bulletin, we have shocking news from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) about this season’s flu vaccine.

Also, beverage giant Coca-Cola is getting into the milk market, apparently seeking to keep profiting from bone-destroying drinks.

And last but not least, the health community has lost an innovative and insightful member at age 98. Dr. Denham Harman discovered the theory of free radicals, and was ignored by the Medical Establishment for more than 40 years. But that has “radically” changed, and many areas of medicine are currently advancing thanks to his insightful research.

Let’s get started!

1. CDC Shocker: Agency Says Vaccine A “Bad Match” For Current Flu Virus Mutation

Amazingly, the CDC has admitted last week, as flu season is barely getting started, that this year’s vaccine mostly contains the wrong virus strains to “combat” the predominant circulating viruses, basically rendering the flu shot ineffective.

Relevant Excerpt:

“A sampling of flu cases so far this season suggests the current flu vaccine may not be a good match for the most common seasonal flu strain currently circulating in the United States, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Wednesday.

The U.S. health agency issued an advisory to doctors noting that flu virus samples the agency took from Oct. 1 through Nov. 22, showed that just under half were a good match for the current influenza A (H3N2) component contained in flu shots for the 2014-2015 season, suggesting the virus has drifted.

According to the CDC, flu activity has been low but is increasing and influenza A (H3N2) viruses appear to be the predominant strain, with cases having been detected in almost all U.S. states.” 1

I predict that the Medical Establishment will scramble to “cover their tracks” once the ineffective nature of this year’s flu vaccine becomes more well-known, citing statistics that show they had the wrong vaccine. Maybe then the general public will become aware of what Savers have known all along: the flu vaccine simply doesn’t work, regardless.

And it certainly doesn’t help that flu vaccines are made one year in advance, so even if they would be effective at building immunity (and they’re not!), they couldn’t possibly cover future strains and mutations. In fact, it’s too late this year to make another vaccine, as the CDC said in a recent statement to the medical community:

“The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said on Thursday it is too late to make new flu vaccines for the current flu season that could better protect against the predominant flu virus now circulating in the United States.
… CDC Director Dr. Thomas Frieden said it takes four months to make a new flu vaccine even using newer cell-based technologies, too long to be helpful in the current flu season.” 2

If you are following the Osteoporosis Reversal Program, you know that the key lies in building your immune system so you do not get the flu in the first place. The flu shot simply “distracts” and taxes your immune system, leaving you even less able to fight off the flu. How ironic!

2. Coca-Cola Launches A New Bone-Destroying Drink

When I read this one, I found myself shaking my head.

Savers know that sugary, acidic Coca-Cola destroys your bones. You also know that cow’s milk is detrimental to bone health. Following its tradition of unhealthy beverages, Coca-Cola has decided to get on the milk bandwagon with its new drink, Fairlife.

Relevant Segment:

“Fairlife will go on sale in the US next month and according to Coca-Cola, a major investor in the product, it will be more “nutritious” with 50 per cent more natural protein and calcium and less sugar than ordinary milk.

… Coca-Cola’s North American chief, Sandy Douglas, said: ‘It’s basically the premiumisation of milk… We’ll charge twice as much for it as the milk we’re used to buying in a jug.’

dMr Douglas claimed that the milk ‘tastes better’ than regular milk and is made on sustainable dairy farms with ‘high-care processes’ and a ‘proprietary milk-filtering process.’” 3

Apparently, Coca-Cola thinks consumers are going to fall for this. But it doesn’t matter how you package it – milk is simply not a healthy beverage for humans. Despite decades of hype, milk does not reverse or prevent osteoporosis. It is a highly acidifying, highly processed beverage that actually draws calcium out of your bones.

3. Discoverer Of Free Radical Theory Dies At Age 98

In 1954, when Dr. Denham Harman presented his theory that aging is due to damage by free radicals, he was scoffed at by the Medical Establishment. But he has since been vindicated, and by the time of his death last month, his theories have been widely accepted and applied to many medical conditions, including cancer.

Relevant Segment:

“Harman developed the ‘Free Radical Theory of Aging’ in 1954, though it took years for additional research to prove its importance. In simple terms, the theory holds that one of the byproducts of oxygen utilization is adverse chemical reactions in cells. The result is aging and, ultimately, death.

The medical community initially scoffed at Harman’s theory. But by the 1980s, free radicals had become part of research into cancer, cardiovascular disease and strokes. Free radicals have since been linked to Alzheimer's disease.” 4

Dr. Harman was certainly vindicated for sticking to his theory. He was obviously confident in the evidence he had found, and outlasted the skepticism that first greeted his theory.

When new evidence gives rise to an advance in medicine, it takes a long time for doctors to incorporate that advance in their practices – up to 17 years, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services. This is why it pays to be up to speed by gathering your own information, because you can’t count on your doctor to be informed about the latest research.

Since the Osteoporosis Reversal Program was launched, it’s been fascinating to watch how its concepts have been “revealed” in studies and further confirmed by new mainstream research.

Over and over, as I research the latest news and developments in osteoporosis, I am amazed at how the simple principles of a pH-balanced diet, pure water, Foundation Supplements, and regular, targeted exercise are affirmed as the most effective ways to build strong, youthful bones.

It has been equally fascinating – and at times tragic – to watch the Program’s science-backed warnings and predictions about osteoporosis drugs come true. This is why there is an emphasis on detoxification on the Program – I agree with Dr. Harman that free radicals do contribute to tissue degeneration, including bone tissue, and periodic cleansing is essential to flush these and osteoporosis drugs from your system.

The Osteoporosis Reversal Program is on the cutting edge of natural solutions for healthy bones. I can’t wait to see what else gets confirmed in the future!

Till next time,
